it will be mighty difficult to decide on a single model boot that will satisfy all our wishes... nevertheless im very interested in a Viberg boot collaboration. And it doesn't need to be an 'official' SuFu boot imo; just a group purchase by boot lovers :-)

btw nobody selling their pair of RW GT black size 8?

Just a heads up. There's what looks to be an older pair of Indy's (judging by the color) that are up on ebay now. But they may have slipped past most people because they aren't listed as Indy's. Item no. 250584928758.

those are really old Indy boots NOS good find!

way over priced but either these have been made to look perfect or is this the perfect pair of vintage boots?

mmm, Viberg service boot with tan rough-out leather, single leather (natural edges) and half sole vibrams ; how does that sound? Viberg is pretty pricey compared to White's though...

Way over-priced with new heels. I recently sold a pair that, in my opinion, was ten times better looking and all original for just over $800.00. I know I could've sold them for more, but I didn't want to start getting stingy.

That's a pair of boots I would spend $300 to rebuild the sole.

Just received my AF79s from Alden of Carmel.

I had to order half a size down than usual, or else wait 7 months, so I just ordered.

They are *slightly tight* where the vamp meets the tongue.

Anyone got tips for stretching them out slightly? So far I'm just going to stretch them a bit with my shoe trees.

from what I've read cordovan leather doesn't really stretch much. I'd say if you haven't worn them outside yet, send them back and wait the 7 months. You'd be much happier.

Yeah when you are spending over $600 on boots, have patience and get the right size! Cordovan is nowhere near as forgiving and calfskin.

Thanks for the advice chaps, but already after wearing them around the house for a few hours, the "stubborn" part that was a bit tight is softening up.

I think give this a week of wear and it will soften up completely, should be fine.
