So I had the tongue protectors from my wesco boots which I didnt think I'd need. And I got a brand new pair of 8111 yesterday, and I got it into my mind to put the tongues from the wesco on the red wings. What do you think? I kind of like the two-tone:

i wouldn't. i do think the Wesco false tongue is the most aesthetically pleasing of the false tongues however i don't think it works well with this boot.

Not bad although I believe those ones came up on Gilt Groupe a while back for about a hundred less. But not being a fan of the Ted Baker versions myself I think the best deal atm is regular Trickers for slightly less than $300 shipped from Pediwear (due to the current low pound).

i've never been a fan of tongue protectors and i dont think it looks particularly good on the iron rangers; but it could be interesting to see it down the road as chicken suggests.

I'm pretty sure the RWxJCrew boots are available in Europe as the 8146.

I looked for a long time before I settled on 1908's from Cultizm, though I'm thinking about selling those now.

Reading this, one thing that stands out for me is they are saying their shoes will be on the modified last, which I thought was not sold in America except to medical/ orthopedic specialty retailers.

I know these are not posted alot, but they are all I have so far. I think they are pretty nice, but have not had a chance to wear them yet. I have not even seem others like them before. If I don't end up wearing them soon I think I might have to say goodbye and get something that I will wear.

I decided that I am going to sell these boots. I just can not get myself to wear them. Iam going to be putting them on ebay, figured I would give this thread first dibs on them. I will probably put them on ebay in a week.

I know this is not the place to put this, so i will put them in the supermarket. I just wanted the guys who showed interest when I first posted pictures of them to know about it first.

I cannot decide between something pull-on like R.M. Williams or something like the Iron Rangers. This boot thing is tough, there is just too many options. I don't know how you guys do it.
