not too sure how long i have had them exactly, over 6 months under a year.

one ocean wash and a couple regulars and a lot of fun.

sorry i didn't just post the pictures instead of the links, i don't exactly know how.

i think i am doing it right every time and then the code just shows and no pic.

thought i'd add something to this thread as my first post, as this thread certainly helped me a lot.

apc ns size 29. usually a 32 in most pants, but my best fitting jeans are size 30 lucky brand. my true waist (at belly button) is 31.5"ish, and where i wear my jeans is 33.5". i'm 5'9ish 155 lbs.

day 2:

this is about 2.5 weeks later, everyday wear:

2903773950_397b5cd495.jpg2902929667_8ac2c23b91.jpg

i was able to try them on before i bought them (sid mashburn in atlanta carries apc ns, a gentleman's clothing store, very helpful staff in there). i was able to button all the buttons up at first with a little trouble, and the sales clerk said these were the right size between this and sz 30. but i haven't made up my mind on these yet. i dig the profile, but they are still pretty tight in the hip/crotch area (it's been a month now). part of that is probably i'm just not used to slim fitting jeans, as these are def the tightest pants i've worm regularly. sometimes i wish i'd gone for the 30. they stretched a lot in the waist which now measures 17" laid flat. i'm gonna wear them for another month maybe and see how it goes, cause to be honest they're not the most comfortable in the hips/crotch area where dude comfort is key. maybe this cut just isn't for me, who knows. hope this helps the kiddies out there

I was hoping to find a store in ATL with APC. I'll definitely stop by to see if they have the size. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you end up paying for them?

when you say they measure 17" laid flat, are you saying it's 34" all around then? is that buttoned?

I might have to make a visit to their store before I order it online. 34" for 29 tagged is large difference. I can't decide what size I need to order. do you wear any Diesels?

For the APC owners, I wear 30 in TR, 31-32 in Diesel, 31 in Levi's matchstick, 31 in RRDS Nudie raw denim...

any help? I love to own a pair that's similar to matchstick. I just want a nice slim pair that's not too tight, not too loose. I'm leaning towards APC NS.. can't decide between 29 or 30.

Keep the 29s if you like the cut of the NS in general. I am about the same height and weight as you. I got a pair of 30s because the 29s seemed insanely tight. But in retrospect I wish that I would have gone for the 29s because my 30s have stretched out a ton.

It will be worth the initial discomfort if you stick it out.

Im buying my first Rescues

Tried on sizes 31, 32 and 33 in store, could do up all buttons with little difficulty but the legs on the 31's and 32's were crazed tight...

Can somebody suggest whether I definately size down so I can't do up the top button with rescues and with giant bodybuilder legs?

will rep hardd no homo

playdisonlyatnight -

those rescues are gonna stretch. i have muscular thighs as well.. sized down 2 from my norm to a 30 and theyve stretched out wonderfully. definitely a relaxed fit compared to my diors.

will actually post pics once i have some decent fades happening.

definately post up those picz

i guess my question really is if sizing down so that you can't do up the waist easily/at all is just for the sufu look/skinny jeans people? or if that includes muscle dudes and A.P.C. rescues? lol
