guys, i'm looking to get some PBJ slub denim. i'm interested in something similar to a N&F Slim Guy, or maybe a Levi's 514 cut. Is the 007 significantly slimmer than these? Suggestions from the experts???

Or u could get the xx-007sp, 007 denim with 011 cut. Only thing is that the jeans have yellow/orange stitching, which may be off-putting to some. I have them and am loving them though:D

Browsing this thread is painful because though I love feel of PBJ's denim, I'll never get a big enough thigh measurement for my waist size

& they are unsanforized, so they will shrink up with a hot soak

That's the thing, I'm a 29 waist with big thighs from hiking and exercise. I guess I worded that kind of strangely.

i have the same issue, but they ended up stretching to the point were they fit better.

i say if you really want em, size them as best as you know.

if it does not work out return them, or sell them. it's worth it mane, these jeans are rad!

Which cuts give similar fit as APC NS? because I'd like to have 8' leg opening for my size of 34. I assume both 011 and 013... I really love the color of 010 purple face but I don't think I will like the fit..

i gotta post some updates of my XX-005s. some major fades and incredible things have happened in these jeans.

even so, i'm so tempted to buy some IH jeans and rotate them with my pbj.

Currently flipping through thread for fit pics of xx010. I'm loving the idea of the purple face, but I'm looking for a tapered cut similar to petite standards. Anyone know if there are plans to make purples in xx011 or xx013?

we'll see about that...I jumped on the IH bandwagon too recently but I'm skeptical about their fades turning out as nice as PBJs or sammies, If Northern's 005s are coming on the their way to retirement, do it, if not, stick to them!

yeah i'm not knocking pbjs at all...if they actually fit my body i would have kept mine for sure, but i think part of the reason you see so many great faded pairs is because they are a lighter weight denim compared to IH so there's more examples of them worn to hell. IH is really heavy and built to last a lifetime, but they still fade beautifully from what i've seen.

I think the dyeing process has more to do with the fading than the weight of the denim.

For example, the 22 oz denim on my DBxSE collab fades easier than my XX-011s ever faded...
