To the west, the rooves of Pacific Heights, the fog coming through the gate, the Golden Gate bride, Marin.

^Oh yeah, you're right. That is indeed an opium poppy. Technically illegal, but no one seems to care if you grow small amounts of it and don't try to milk the seed-head.

We have here Paro, the baby seal, from a robotics company in Japan.

Makes noise, moves around, responds to touch and voice, etc - used to comfort old folks with dementia.

I went a head and hot soaked my pair again last night. I was hoping to hold out another 2-3 weeks just to let all the funk from the kitchen settle in. I couldn't take it, and none of my typical tricks were helping.

not sure how much is dirt and how much is residual starch. no indigo seemed to bleed which surprised me a little given the water was near boiling when I added it.
