damn dacrow where do you get all this money for film + processing /

maybe prints?

or do you just scan em?

They're all negative/slide scans; I have no prints at all. E6 is very expensive ($16-22 for film+developing) but I only recently started doing that and don't intend to that often. C41 is cheaper ($10 for 1 roll of film+processing). Black and white I develop on my own with a pretty cost-efficient developer (HC 110) so film is really the only cost for those (maybe $5 per roll). Also I don't have any digital equipment at all, and my cameras/lenses are relatively inexpensive compared to an equivalent digital setup (my entire 35mm setup = $150 total, a full-frame DSLR with a 50mm f1.4 would be a lot more), so the money goes toward film/developing.

Also usually I don't shoot this much, but we just had spring break over here (I'm in college) so I was blowing through film like water :P

Film + processing isn't that expensive. I'm using an old camera I found lying around and haven't even come close to spend money on film and processing equal to a digital SLR.

EDIT: Damnit, got beat to it.

I was trying to utilize the intersection on the rule of thirds to lead the eye...I should have cropped though some of the neg. space like you said. I can't wait to get a macro! I have to stand like a foot back with the sigma 50 :/ It was an awesome BLT and I can still smell the maple scent hours later lol

Here are some images from my recent trip to Hanoi and Sapa, all colour since I knew the place would be vibrant.

I found the place to be unbelievably hectic, impossibly colourful and completely different from home!

I shot mostly slides; a mixture of velvia, provia and my perennial favourite, ektachrome.

Traveled light for Vietnam, so it was small-format, one lens, one camera set-up -

My trusty Hexar RF with a Voigtlander 35mm f/2.8 Color-Skopa.
