i hear it was one of the best explanations of religion, and im interested in that sort of thing.

i'm reading V. by thomas pynchon, and it's a struggle. at least i don't feel bad when i put it down for a week, or an hour, and still have a very slight idea of whats going on.

im reading THUDD by terry pratchert, bought it in the airport to transport me into a fantasy land while flying back to states, it worked, just easy reading stuff, but pretty good.

only a few books have gotten the best of me. ulysses is another. and that don delillo book about the assassination of kennedy (libra?)

i heard althought gravity's rainbow is more intimidating in terms of size, it actually makes more sense and makes you want to keep going from chapter to chapter. i skipped a fucking chapter in V about some fucking island because it was so drastic. i do love the partying parts of the whole sick crew. and the crying of lot 49 was dope. i actually have a button of the post-horn, rock that shit daily. 2 secret.

did you think so cheap? I just really wasnt that impressed with it. I mean, it was entertaining and certainly not bad, but I didn;t think the plot or storyline was anything amazing.

Just started "Secret Germany" by Baigent and Leigh, same dudes who brought us "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". Colonel Stauffenberg's assassination attempt on Hitler in1944 is examined in great details.

Hegemony or Survival - quite interesting perspective on things. Very critical of the US government but should be taken with a grain of salt.

Anyone else read this? I'm only a few pages deep but would love to hear other's impressions.
