You see late 60s 505s without the selvage edge used at the outseam.

 

Boy, these really point out how LVC's 505 is a just a general idea of a '67 505, rather than a copy.

I think my next pair (if I ever get one) would have to be a 40's pair, or early 50's for that leather patch (also my favorite era)...I figure once I'm rich I'll just fly to Japan and get a mint pair deadstock haha
