Everything I've shot so far is on a standard 18-55 canon kit lens...upgrading to some great glass so I can have a lot more sharpness for print making.

getting a 50mm f1.4 and either the canon 10-22mm or the 15-85mm.

I shot with the 15-85 and its so versatile i can't pass it up. The image quality is just as sharp as a 17-40L f4 or 17-55 f2.8 that are both amazing lenses, and it has 4 stop image stabilization which I will really benefit from....

I use Aperture to do little conversions and adjustments. I don't have a copy of photoshop for my mac (switched from PC last year) and I'm waiting to pick up a copy of CS5 with my wife's student discount in a few weeks.

A fairly typical Sunday....

PART 1

I woke up super early this AM, and left while still dark... Got in a 100km training ride & by the time I rolled back home, the family was having breakfast.

Quick shower, got dressed... My EDC for the day:

Then I bowed before the coffee god....

Mmmmmm....

I was fooling around with the macro on the Lumix. Rice Crispies.....

We headed up to the dog park, for our usual Sunday morning canine meetup! It was already getting pretty hot, and everyone was just chillin

Boys still had energy to play a bit

Oh oh. Where's the slobber rag?

The boys were tuckered out by the time we got home!

PART 2

The LVC47's are coming along nicely... Not quite ready for full-on evo update, but here are some teasers!

What I was wearing today:

With the pups sleeping, we then headed out for a casual bike ride. A view of the trails...

Of course, we stopped at every possible park to play!

We circled over to a pastry shop to re-energize om macaroons. Mmmmmm.... So many flavors - we bought a few different one to try...

Then we headed home & relaxed for a couple of hours.

PART 3

This evening, our daughter played in a small concert that her piano teacher organized for her students. It was at a church - beautiful, modern, minimalist architecture & stunning stained glass windows.

I'm a sucker for sunsets!
