Last night I watched "Deathbowl to Downtown", a documentary about skateboarding in NYC (trailer

). Today, full of enthusiasm, I got up early and got to work building a ramp extension...

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Germany last week to visit some friends of ours studying abroad in Konstanz.

heres a couple from the land of almostnice.

a windy day am Bodensee atop a church tower.

everyone needs a little tourist trap time at neuschwanstein...

my friend on the left is wearin a pair of 501s I brought to him cause he had lost a bunch of weight, and a regular pair of Levi's is super expensive in europe (compared to the US). I had no idea.

i've got some more good ones comin, but I'm really busy right now.

Thanks, DB, Dc, riff & DJ!

Tex took this one when she was finished with me for the day. A lot more to do, but good progress on covering up the line down the spine I got when I was younger and had less forethought.

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Lulworth Cove on my motorbike as it was a nice day, not before breakfast...

Taped the directions on

Nice view from the top

Just over the other side of the cove

Lunch. Chips, Battered Sausage and Curry Sauce (pointless otherwise)

Then a short walk over to Durdle Door

Got home and had a roast

Beautiful photos, GBOB, repped.

Durdle Door is a wonderful place - reputedly haunted, sailors have seen the ghosts of young women disappearing into the sea; John KEats visited there, it features in Far From The Madding Crowd, and I got bloody knackered climbing up those hills. I had a feeling I might have seen it when I snoozed thru the last Harry Potter bore-fest.

My jeans brewed an English dark mild ale, and accompanied me in drinking a 1986 Thomas Hardy's English barleywine. When I was born, an English dude was hangin out brewing this beer, and here I am drinking it today. Crazy!

Today, I went and stocked up at my local beer shop.

They have a good selection of Glassware too.

And a couple of casks, to take your own jug and top up.

Chilled out on the common and revised for my next placement.

Got home, surveyed my purchases...

...and played my guitar for a while.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my first WAYJDT post btw. Lulworth Cove is lovely, and suprisingly quiet, I know what you mean Paul T, I felt a little out of breath by the top, to say the least!
