hahahahahahaha, well PBR has become somewhat of a "hipster" beer here in MPLS. hell our #1 concert venue in town charges $6 bucks for a tall boy (pint) of the stuff. It seems to be a staple SE x SuFu party drink as well! for me, at the liquor store, it is fucking cheap, and its pretty good quantity beer. definately not anything special, but worth buying to drink in mass quantity for sure. much better than any lite beer Miller lite, bud lite, anything lite...but not gross like original budweiser and such...

Yesterday me and my Momotaro 0201 enjoyed the sun, going to a 4 hour walk at the baltic sea. There were nice cliffs, that remembered me a bit of beloved ireland. The air was filled with seaweed and salt. And when I got hungry, I found a nice tapas bar, serving me aioli bread and those nice gambas.

Yesterday I went to celebrate my brother's birthday down in Brighton.

We made him some robot cakes.

Brightona was on this weekend. Loads of bikes, and a few nice cars too.

well today i'll be the first one to admit I was hung over. as dkatz kindly reiterated, lol. and once that wore off, I went out, as annabelle did, to view some fall foliage. Brought my pops along with me, and brought the camera along of course. just some quick snaps.

Heading out to the countryside and some great trails where I used to nordic ski when I lived here. They run through a big park / nature preserve.

well, its Iowa, and yes, there are farms everywhere. this is just one of a million.

the trailhead we always choose begins right next to a nice old farm next to a creek.

the trail breaks out of the woods and heads through some open fields from time to time.

Big, giant old tree. have been in awe of it since I was a little kid hanging out here on hikes and bike rides with my dad. damn thing is still doing well.

and we saw a snake sunning itself on the path as we were heading back to the car. it got pretty pissed when we approached it, so we gave it a wide berth just in case. I know nothing about snakes, and while i'm assuming it was a harmless snake, if Snakes on a Plane taught me anything, don't fuck with snakes!
