video games ruined my life

Yep. Some lobbies I'll move a half step slower than normal, while others I'll move near walking speed in a full sprint, but all my matches today were slower. Lightweight + Marathon didn't do much either.

Edit: Just lurked the BO forums and found that it's a glitch that they're currently working on.

Game was solid the whole length of the single player (about 15 hours for me with all the side quests and what not) and the multiplayer was actually a nice addition to the franchise. If only people understood the concept of stealth and didn't just try to run around and kill the first person they saw.

I'm at 40+ hours on New Vegas, it's much more involved than number 3 IMO, but SOOOOOO buggy. Permanently lost one of my "companions" earlier to a bug.

I got permanently stuck in The Thorn or whatever the hell that underground "dog fighting" ring is outside of Freeside. So fucking pissed. Didn't have a backup save since my autosave got overwritten and I had to start my whole play through over. 20+ hours wasted.

you guys got any good headset recs for a ps3?

at the moment i have just been using some sennheiser headphones plugged into the tv but i fancy trying out a mic etc so i can interact more.

btw, do headsets mean wires all over the place?

thanks

Try the PX21. It's a budget set and the sound doesn't really get THAT much better in higher end models to warrant the exponential increase in price.

And yes, it means wires. You really won't find reliable, consistent sound, even in the upper end of the headphone section.

Completed New vegas a few weeks back, agreed that bugs are everywhere in the game, but not to the point that it ruins gameplay. IMO FO3 was a superior game in terms of story line, despite not having the size of NV.. the overall NV plot and ending aren't the best...

I would also recommend playing on PC rather than PS3 due to less precision when aiming on PS3, plus having quicksave is essential.

anyways bring on

The official Sony PS3 headset is pretty great. I have one and I love it. Not terribly expensive either, about $50.

the earhook thing is pretty awful on the Sony one, doesn't stay on your ear, i got one free with Socom Confrontation and haven't used it more than once or twice because of that

Found a good glitch on New Vegas, I got a service rifle as a reward for escorting someone out of a cave - for some reason the conversation option to ask for my reward wouldn't go away, so I got 60 rifles and a few thousand rounds of ammunition before I got bored. Could have kept going indefinitely though.

For $50, all it is is a glorified bluetooth set. The only advantage of it over a $10-20 one is that it has a display for battery life when you press the home button. It's not all that comfortable either. Any time I'd play for more than an hour, the actual piece that goes in your ear made my canal quite sore and is a one-size-fits-all.

Plus, I think he was looking for something more of a complete headset over just one to chat on.

anyone still play smash 64? played it w some friends for about 6 hours straight the other day and i have the blisters to prove it (fuck a N64 joystick). ness, kirby, yoshi, and link are my guys
^^ The smash series will always be the best multiplayer series in my eyes. Hundreds and hundreds of hours have been spent playing those games.

Funny you should say this...I played 64 pretty much for 3 days straight with some friends last week. Still mad fun even though it's not nearly as polished as Brawl or Melee. Glad to hear someone else is repping smash though, to be honest I can't get enough of the series either.

Been on a Brawl binge as of late too.. good shit
