There's lots of tantos out there, but I think the KISS is probably the smallest/thinnest you could get. Also doubles as a money clip.

Oh yeah the kiss. I own one but if you want discrete, get one with the smaller clips. The ones with money clips are not discrete AT ALL.

+1 on the KISS. basically exactly what you described. nice barebone, functional, cheap knife. slim enough for the slimmest jeans and has the tanto tip.

So this may be a weird, "just me" thing, but lately I've been EDCing a "charity dollar." A couple weeks ago I found a $10 on the sidewalk. I always feel weird about taking and spending found money because I always just imagine the person who lost it.

Anyway, later that day I was on the Green Line in here in Chicago when 3 dudes came in and did some singing. Now normally, I don't give money to beggars nor people who "perform" for money. But these kids could sing and I thought not only could I not do what they just did, but also, "damn! that was worth a dollar."

So since then I just keep a dollar on me to give out (until I go through the $10 I found) to people who go above and beyond the usual "can I have some money?"

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Anyone else do this or am I a complete nutcase?

you can get them anywhere.. hardware store/home depot, office depot, whatever.. just box cutters. supleme made one in a box logo sheath a couple years ago.

that gerber is pretty damn nice and would kop but the appeal of those boxcutters is that theyre basically the same size as a stick of gum and could fit in coin pocket, shirt pocket, buttcrack, etc.
