Hey guys,

I've had a Union Special 43200G for a while now, and feel confident enough to offer my hemming services. I only have pure cotton thread available, and can do yellow/yellow and orange/yellow combos. Thread is Japanese, and high quality. My little workshop is at my home, and consists of myself, my US 43200G, and a pair of micro-serrated scissors for fabric cutting purposes..

Please check my official thread for more information here!

Payments are done with PayPal only.

Here comes some vintage sewing machine porn:

For any enquiry, please PM. Also, if you live in Norway you are welcome to show up in person; this can be arranged!

Anyone know a good tailoring / alterations / chainstitching place in the west side of Germany?

alterations could do any tailor in your town... but i dont know of any places in west germany that can do a chainstitch. In NL there is Benzak, Denham and Tenue de Nimes that got a chainstitcher and in Berlin there is DC4. So do a weekend trip... thats my plan D:

Hm... thanks for the info ! I might have to take a trip myself... know any stores in Germany that sell good denim ? I just bought myself a pair of Albam because my imperials were dying.

Yeah I do too after I moved to Germany but I don't know the right fits for me yet with every pair of jeans such as APC & IH & etc . So far I've only owned a pair of Imperial Kings / Cheap Mondays / Albam now.

^or you can go to jeanspaleis in kerkrade nl (nearest place from bitburg i guess), they offer denim repair and hemming service, afaik they have union special as well. http://blog.drytilly...om/jeanspaleis/

edit: Rubyblue already said it before

Jeanspaleis offers this service for 15€. (7,5€ when a jeans is bought in store). Roger has a Union Spec. 43200 in his store. I just came from there, and saw the machine in action.

The adress:

Cary (The Clerk) at Department of Works Chain stitched my Roy RS4's yesterday on his Union Special here in Brighton, UK.

A very nice job as always - Terminates the Stitch nicely so there's no loose thread - Looks very neat.

He can match threads colours as you can see from the spools, and accepts postal orders.

Not to mention he's a thoroughly nice chap!
