im just basing this on the cultizm pics.. i dont know the facts haha.. but the 37s look basically like a normal straight fit and the 33s look like a relaxed fit.. well see how they turn out after everyone soaks.... cant wait for the start of this!

Also take a look at the http://www.oki-ni.com/ pics, cultizm pics are sometimes deceiving. The 33 seems slightly slimmer than the 37 there....

The 33 is definitely wider. Look at the relative dimensions:

1933 501 W33, R12.5, L31 , Lo 9.25,St20.5 , Th 10.75

1937 501 W32.5,R13, L31.75, Lo9, St 20, Th10.125

37 has a higher rise, narrower thighs and a smaller leg opening. The leg opening and thigh are measured flat, so that means the diameter of each is larger on the 33, by over an inch on the thigh; likewise, even allowing for the waist difference, the seat on the 33 is slightly bigger, too.

oki-ni sucks haha, the 33 looks slimmer than the 44 on their website... i really dont think they care how the fit is on their models cuz everything looks awful on that site

oki-ni's fit pics are always ridiculous. its like they don't want anyone to buy their clothes.

If my opinion matters at all, I say we do monthly evo pics plus everyone should feel free to do a "what are you jeans doing today" style update whenever they want (the more, the better)....

I have decided that I'm not going to participate in this contest, and I will be shunning Levi's until they decide that they can make a pair of pants that measure the way they are supposed to.

I do look forward to the contest, there are so many contestants and it will be very interesting to see all the different LVC cuts get their chance to shine.

I officially swapped my Knappave for a pair of '33. Dejan at Cultizm did a fantastic job, they're already in the mail and should be there by the end of the week. I received the Fedex infos on Sunday! These guys never take a break or what ?!

the whole point of the contest is that it's sponsored by cultizm - you need to order the jeans from them.

i think they may make an exception if you bought them from cultizm and they are unworn.

What's the best way to get measurements? Joe's on vacation, and when I asked for measurements on the site's question form, all I got in reply was the tagged inseam and waist (kind of pointless).

THANKS TO PAUL T:

Measurements are for jean tagged 32W 32L.

W= waist, R=Rise, L=leg length, Lo=leg opening (measured across hem) S=seat (width just below the front pockets), Th=thigh width 7 inches below the crotch.

Thanks; not really what I was looking for though. I was talking about the measurements of individual pairs that people have managed to get from Dejan and Joe (some of them are listed on the first page of the thread). Nevermind I guess.
