@almostnice: I washed them at 40°. About the sweater, I wash it at 30° (sorry I forgot about that message). I hope it won't shrink more or I'll have to sell...

@dr. house: they're still drying and they look harder than before.

indigo loss? I don't think it's a big deal, there's a lot

is anyone else having trouble with the stitching already?

it started two or three weeks ago (after only 4 weeks of wear), when i had to do these reapirs:

4 days ago i did this:

and today:

i didn´t talk about it, yet, cause i hoped the ripped threads were individual cases, but it seems to get a regular problem for me after only 1.5 months. guess i´ll have to resew the whole jeans, if i want to finish the contest.

I've seen your pics at myNudies 1st, but it's more terrible on the 2nd look. You should return this pair imo, seriously. Doesn't look like a bagatelle, and if you let the whole jean resew it wouldn't be the same and always a bothering compromise. It's a T5 problem, don't make it yours imo.

that's really odd, that much stitching so early. mine are holding up great, but then again I don't do much else but sit and walk in them. maybe it's because you bike, hike, etc., unless it's never happened to any of your other jeans? but yeah I agree with dr. house, you should get in touch with fung@t5

@drhouse: i wasn´t really planning to get them resewed, just was thinking that i´ll have (hand) repaired the whole pair in the end.

i had to do repairs on all of my cottonthread jeans, just not that early. don´t think that t5 can/will help me. i´ll see how it will evolve in the next weeks and then decide, wether to contact them or not.

...that's not the way I see it. A jean is made for hard wear, nothing else. Worst thing on a jean is bad quality, that's what makes me turn away from Nudie e.g.

I meant Take5 isn't responsible because they didn't manufactor the jeans.

But they have the better contact to Denime

i think that pair is just a lemon..

and i think it looks tight on you matt

they aren´t too tight at all. actually it´s the exact fit i was going for. when walking or standing there´s absolutely no extra stress on the seams (when cycling it´s there, of course...)

as i said before: i´ll see how it evolves in the future. think i´ve been quite active in these thus far.

about updates: once every three months is true.

looks like Atzec got a "monday" pair.doesnt matter how active you are, this shouldnt happen in such a short time.I suppose they either used the wrong thread or the sewingmachine wasnt adjusted properly.

As you bought them at T5,they are responsible to sort it out with Denime.

I would complain if I were you.

That's what I've said. T5 is responsible for their stuff. Dunno about japanese warranty rules, anyway Atzec, you've done alot for their contest and help them selling their jeans btw. No question for exchange imo, a jean should allow any kind of activity.

no way yours are slimmer than mine (if you ferering to me) you are a true 32 and I'm a true 34 and we both got a size 34

r u sure ?

ok, i sent an email to take 5 and asked for their opinion. i´ll keep you updated.

Do that, crossing my fingerz for you.

I know your size Tilmann, but I guess your Denimes fit a bit looser (not much). I've soaked mine 2 times (vintage method, no machine), one time HOT. And I guess I'll soak them again next time, I've got a feeling that it's good for their denim.

@Atzec: no Matthias, but it's sad to see those pics and I'm sure you're disappointed.
