Many pictures to show after the first machine wash these have had. Altogether, they've had something 1 pre-soak, 2 soap-soaks/rinses, 1 hand-wash, and 1 machine wash. After 1.5 months of the hot, humid Asian climate, it was definitely time.

Couldn't be happier with the post-wash results. It was like an explosion of blue compared to pre-machine-wash.The jeans are actually quite a bit darker in-person. I vaguely recall someone suggesting a machine wash was the key to bringing the color out or something similar to that. I'd say they were rather correct.

So soft and comfy. <3

p-wing is in the motherfuckin' building! it must be that BC bud...

the machine wash isn't necessarily the key, it's just that most people don't agitate their jeans enough if they choose to hand-wash. it took me a while to find the perfect method: get a 10 gallon bucket found at home-depot( 5 bucks), put jeans in with really warm water(half a bucket full), not too-much soap. let soak for like 5 minutes, and then dunk the fuck outta them bitches until your arm is tired(about 50 reps). pour out the water, and then refill with 1/2 bucket, and re-dunk them with out soap(this gets out most of the leftover soap residue) rinse under the shower for a minute, and you're done. this assures you that the denim won't lose indigo except for where the real wear has occured. try it, and thank me later...im on wash #30 now, since the baby got a shit-load of chocolate pudding on me the other day..... pics soon

almostnice is my kind of dude

going to the most northern island of germany tomorrow named Sylt i am looking forward to my first seawash ever.from what i know this will make them smell even worse.as the pants are dirty and full of sweat i plan to do a handwash after salaamis guide on saturday.the family and me are spending the 2nd part of the holiday in a tiny shed on the countryside- cold shower only and cooking from gascartridges-so expect this to be a primitive one.pics should be ready on mondaynight.

A bit more detail on the lap fades - after the 90-odd degree weather we are having in NY these are due for another wash.

Those are two side by side images, which is why it looks like I have no crotch

unfortunally i am not able to show the pics promised above.after sobering up and arriving at the seaside next morning i realized how cold the water was... I did jump in later that day but than it was too late to get the jeans dry again.the handwash failed cause the kids occupied the bucket for some waterfun.anyway, here are some pics:

haga, you look like the punisher with that pose, esp. with the super-bangs! whiskers very strong...

almostnice, i thought you said you were living in a shack? that looks like a legitimate domicile, i thought you were really roughing it! i see women, hammocks, tables, you're livin' the goodlife! that bucket is perfect. i forgot to mention the possible necessity of repeating the 'dunking in soapy water' part if needed, as well as the ''rub soapy hands over really soiled areas'' as needed. trust, rubbing the soiled/stained areas will not really fade/crock FC indigo, and when you follow it up with the dunk-a-thon it really does the trick...jeans are looking lovely, btw.

Thread's dead for a couple days so I take some pix with my POS camera, come here to post them and see HaGa and almostnice's photos. Oh well, here's my lousy photos. Washed my jeans Saturday, probably the 12th or 13 trip through the washer. For most of July and August they've been washed on a weekly basis. Need to repair the right pocket.

HaGa, that pic is awesome! giving me a hard time keeping track with you..

and Setterman, dont worry i am sure your pair will look similar with better lighting! Salaami, that is a shack indeed! Its a tiny wooden house with just some beds, small cookingdevice,a toilet and an oven in it.but youre right, living there in the summer is nice and easy.
