Thanks, I like these a lot actually.. The shit is still a bit stiff even after a soak so it feels sorta awkward walkin around in em.. But these seem to fade quite quickly, I've only worn them two times and already im seeing fading around the lower area of my ankles and a bit of my back pocket..

Definitely worth the money for those who have intentions on buying a pair.. Stay true to size, that's all I'll say.. Shit was tight enough with 29, if i sized down my balls would've suffocated..

They do look great! I just dont know if I'm best friends with the new arcuate style though...

the old arcuate is beautiful

Really clean, I like those.

Is there still a source for these?

Anymore info on Burgus Plus?

I've been wondering which models of theirs are close to Oni's. None seem slubby at all (Except for the two natural dye flame weave jeans).

So, Hinoya owns both Oni and Burgus Plus?

What is BS. United then?

I'm so confused.

^^

Very nice jeans. A great buy for anyone that gets them.

Those seem to be made of the very same super slubby denim that most Oni's are.

Does anyone know which Burgus Plus models use that same very slubby denim?

Burgus is made from some lovely lovely denim, and represent great value at around $130 USD if I remember correctly. They're perfect for newbies to japanese denim, or fans who don't want to spend too much.

I bought a one wash 770 fit to size from the Hinoya store nearest to Ueno station in Tokyo. The guys at Hinoya said it would stretch out over time, but this pair are still ball breakers for now. I have been advised to do a cold soak and squats to stretch out the crotch more. Will let you know how that goes.

Anyway here are some pics of them after one month of wear - you can see how textured & furry the denim is getting. There's is a nice streak forming down the inside right leg and the beginnings of roping on the hem. Note the Lot 770 selvage is in a girly pink whereas the Lot 780 uses baby blue.

Thanks aho. Will follow up in a few months with some evolution shots.

In the meantime, here are some fit pics.

Nice fit. I remember seeing these last time I was at Hinoya. Seemed like a great deal on some nice denim. I guess since it is only Hinoya carrying them (at least to my knowledge), most people don't know about them. However, that hairy denim is quite nice, and for guys that are looking for a lower rise, slim(ish) jean, these are the way to go.
