I've never touched a pair of PBJ's, so I wouldnt know. They look similar, though.

007's are much more irregular and have a coarser hand than oki's, the PBJ's seem to be woven tighter and thus more feel sandpapery

Thought I'd post an update. I got these in March of last year. I got laid off and have been biking around the city a bit lately so they're breaking in a little faster than when I was sitting on my ass in an office. I wore these with a pair of old Sammies for a while, which have been on a hiatus for a bit because I'm too lazy to sew them up.

PBJs and Okis are not really close in texture. Okis are more 'streaky' with strong vertical falling whereas PBJs are slubby with almost a burlap texture.
