Okutama has quickly become my favourite city retreat. I first went there last weekend and walked around for nearly two hours. On my way down a mountain road I ran into an old man and his wife driving up the mountain; the man apparently "owns" (language barrier probably came into play here) the mountain I was walking on and was overseeing development on it. I continued down and they quickly followed, inviting me over for tea.

Went back yesterday and took a bus to Okutama Lake area to check out the abandoned Okutama Lake Ropeway.

yeah, trump room can be a really good time. management knows how to throw a party. but its pretty small for a club. when its too crowded it kind of blows.

usual crowd is... at least 4 or 5 quasi-cosplay girls passed out on couches or throwing up on your shoes. dodgy eurotrash looking for drugs, selling drugs, coming down off of them, or hitting on cosplay girls. then there are your average gaijin dj/promoters. the JV set of Japanese fashionistas slumming it in Shibuya for the night. and hands down some of the hottest lesbians (or girls playing lesbians) in Tokyo.

hotel century southern tower is real good, 4 stars although a little expensive considering how basic the rooms are. its literally a 10 second walk to JR shinjuku station so its super easy to get around.
