Orochan Ramen challenge. Failed like always. Can get down to about half the broth, but always end up running out of time. I realized it's just too hot temperature-wise initially for me to have a chance.

Never understood how Subway bakes their own bread, has reasonably fresh veggies and stuff, but manages to always taste like ass. Quizno's is fucking horrible, worse than Subway, I hate the mix of temperatures on my sandwich, like hot mayo on an ice cold tomato and iceberg lettuce, and their pressed meat log meats are shit.

That said, I get cravings for both once in awhile (Subway Turkey and Ham, and Quizno's BLT)

This argie style grill in Sydney is getting quite a few raves and with good reason. They also have a sorta rockabilly theme to the place that you can't see in the pics. Suffice to say, imagine having marilyn as your hostess, the guy from twin shadow as your waiter, a dude with raybans, suspenders, bow tie and slicked hair as a bartender plus two chefs with full sleeves and slicked hair manning the chopping board and the grill.

That's the asador where they hang up some suckling pig and suffolk lamb.

Bread with pork pate, olio.

BRINNER - omelette with peppers, onions, and cheese. hash browns. toast with butter and jam. cran-apple juice.

Lunch - Two carnitas and two carne asada tacos from a local Taco Truck. BOMB.
