Not my fault my original dinner buddy is MIA... in Singapore...

Had to find a replacement. It's okay, you can redeem yourself though... whoever you may be.

sl*t - good ramen = keep it on the dl = address will be pm-ed. :D

_nicholas - shit, I've had that exact same combo before going to bed a couple of times too!

i cant believe you can be bothered to make stuff like this for supper. i just had my supper.

two slices of bread + 3 slices of roast beef [pre packaged type] + 2 slices of cheese + a squirt of the full cream japanese mayo [the one that comes without any writing on the bottle] = supper.

and to wash it down, a glass of coke.

GG.

still... its good to see people can appreciate food. singapore really is a food paradise.

whats hainanese?

never heard of it before.

Hainanese is a Chinese subculture.

last night: bacon, onion ring cheeseburger with a root beer at bluephies

I love greasy food when you totally crave for it.

Shame I don't put on weight.

haha that wasn't supper, it was dinner. yeah, i couldn't be half-assed to make shit like that for supper.

singapore definitely is the place for affordable and amazing variety of food.

did you remember to add the grated ginger?

i did. :)

i added a lot of old ginger and drizzled lemon juice over it. the unagi turned out a little chao ta though. but still not bad. the lousy donburi bibimbab was not good.

Hainanese is a Chinese subculture.

well you can say that. it's actually a dialect group originally from the south of china.

breakfast....muesli.

a late lunch....delicious...spring onion crepe, filled with roasted pumpkin, pumpkin and mango dahl, and spinach.

dinner for my dad's birthday was amazing. he rarely cooks, but when he does he goes all out. he decided he'd like to cook for us on his birthday, rather than the usual case of us spoiling him. dinner was:

...a glass of piper heidseck brut to start.

...fresh veal, chicken and prosciutto ravioli with a blue cheese sauce.....and a glass of western australian tokay.

...lamb neck with garlic and rosemary, runner beans, baby carrots and baby potatoes...and a few glasses of penfolds 1982 grange hermitage

...and for dessert, homemade white chocolate ice cream, with vanilla poached pears and a bittersweet dark chocolate sauce.

all that, and i didn't take any fucking photos :(

are you lying to us about these fab meals? :P

contrary to what others have said, i think there's no shame in taking pics of your food. i've even got a few other peeps (who don't even post here) hooked onto taking foodie pics! :)
