Unknown Japanese Brands

real mccoy and denime are relatively unknown on the board, but a mainstay of collectors.

I thought them two were rather well known, just not bought or worn often.

I really like the look of those locomotive jeans. I take it you didn't buy them in the end?

Still waiting. I thought they were supposed to be slim from the measurements, but all the pics look fuller. I might just get them anyway.

Dude, those Locomotive jeans are made in Tajima. That's practically local. Ooh, they have a dealer in Osaka... that's even local-er. Another one for me list.

I love this freakin forum, there's like years of research here.

anyone familiar with Anachronorm? I've only seen washed jeans from them, but outside of 45 RPM they do probably the best washed jeans i've seen out of Japan, even better than Kohzo or LVC. Kinda pricey though...but nice if you want that fresh out of the coal mine look and don't feel like spending years breaking a pair in.

They don't look as slim as I initially thought they were, which is weird because the website says they're a '66. Perhaps they weren't soaked in these pics.

thanks for the link...yikes, that website gives me a headache. A for effort but a D for execution.

i think the models i saw were the one you mentioned, and actually the William H models overall...it seemed like LVC distressed stuff but with more details. I liked the last dirty wash jean on the Will H section. But now that i've seen more of it, it seems rather hit or miss. Some of the stuff is a bit overdesigned.

Agree with almost everything said here, just wondering what the think they're doing with that double yoke thing on the jeans? Can't imagine that looks good and can't seem to find pics of the stuff worn......

They claim to be "20 times dyed 100% natural indigo" and uses Zimbabwe cotton. The company is called Tsurugiya. They're sold on Saddleman as well.
