yeah you don't really have the typical superfuture body type, but i'm not even too sure what sort of style you're going for. if you're seeing to look like a normal guy you've done it. but if you asked me, i don't think the shoes go with the rest of your outfit.

i'm not trying to bash or anything i hope this is used as constructive criticism but it's not a matter of what's wrong with your outfit and how can it be improved, to me, it's more of your personal style, personality and what you like (obviously) so wear what you like! unless, that is what you like. then i don't know what to say

Yeah well that is a pretty average person outfit. Honestly the shoes I just found in my closet and wanted to try them on, but I'm glad you were honest with me. I think I still need to find my own style, I'm kind of in this weird middle ground because after I found SuFu ~4 months ago it's changed my opinion on a lot of looks. Hah as lame as it sounds right now I'm kind of blending in until I lose enough weight to pull off more of the looks I see and love on here...

why'd you dress like this to a superbowl party? even niggaz in the owner's box wouldn't dress like this.

yeah, carlun the hat's kinda pushing it but besides that your top half looks good, although i'm not too sure that that's proper superbowl party attire (no jersey?) your sweater seems to fit TOO perfectly but still good. i'm curious as to what shoes you're wearing with your outfit

I disagree. The collar is what's too perfect. The sweater, on the other hand, doesn't fit too well. Look at where the shoulder seams are.

is this really a discussion going on about what is or is not appropriate to wear to a party to watch sports on tv...

the_state

seems to imply that if he is dressed like this he can't possibly be interested in the game...which is neither there nor there...althouhg it is stated like this is some deficiancy on the posters part...

jmatsu

it is nice of you to be concerned whether he fitted in with the dress code...managed to not over or under dress for the occasion...

i have no opinion either way on Carlun's fit...but really... are there rules on what one can wear to watch tv...are we really so conservative that one cannot dress up a little because they feel good like that even if they are just going to watch sports...

surely anytime is a good time to be looking your best...whatever that means to you...

i don't personally have anything against him nor do i find his fit that despicable.

i am genuinely curious as to why someone would wear something like that to a watch a game. i mean, i suspect you would not wear your usual to certain occasions such as weddings, etc (nor would i).

i do agree with your sentiment that i have bolded, but there is a time and a place for certain type of dress. let's not kid ourselves.

I'm sure he had his LT mitchell and ness under the shirt and tie....and I'm sure he was wearing his Lavin cleats

.

the raises an interesting point...living in the south pacific...events like this can be incredibly casual...

the last wedding i went to the wedding party didn't wear shoes...i was in a tie...in fact i have had this experience on a few occasions...now this could be taken as a faux pas...to dress more formally than the main participants...there was no sign that it was taken as such...

however in the case of something like a game...i don't think that there is a bride one must not upstage... unless Carlun's cousin had dreamt since he was a little girl that he would invite his friends and family to watch him watch the giants win the superbowl... with tears of pride in their eyes...

so while there is occasions that one would be wise to dress in a certain way...i think it spoils a whole lot of fun to make more rules of appropriate attire than is absolutely necessary..

well it was pretty mixed, some where in sweaters, others in hoodies, t's, and even couple guys were in button downs. it wasn't like there was a dress code we were all just having a great time at my cousin's apartment.

i'm not just talking about how your fit looks, but how it works in the given social situation. i could kinda understand a tie-formal-like fit for the superbowl provided that you were at a casino, maybe in owner's box, or even at a decent dining bar/similar establishment.

please tell me that your cousin lives in a arty huge loft or uptown penthouse and that you had another function after the game.

no my cousin doesn't, so iguess this is just a matter of the difference of opinion between you and me of being overly or underly dressed for a given occasion.
