man, i recently got turned on to some of steve coogans earlier stuff (alan partrage and that shit) and he was sooooo funny. it reminds me of curb your enthusiasm kind of. but i also saw hamlet 2 and it was one of the worst things i've ever been subjected to. i don't know how to feel about that guy

my friend finally hooked me up a copy of enter the void when i was back home, but he also out true grit and the fighter on the cd. and then my boss jacked the disk to rip those movies, so i still havnt seen it, which kinda sucks.

OG is disappointing, same trajectory/tension as blair witch

watched The Kids Are All RIght and it was just all right

1st third of the flick: i was intrigued

2nd third of the flick: i am disappoint

3rd act: i am resigned

I watched Terminator Salvation and I was pleasantly surprised

it helped having very very very low expectations

but it was like visiting with old friends and noticing that they aren't quite as fit as they used to be, but that's fine because you share a back catalog of in-jokes, and yeah, maybe you aren't as fit as you used to be either

maybe you've lost your edge

maybe time has worn you down a bit

maybe the vim & vigor has been replaced with piss and vinegar
