This film was so fucking good, although my love of Westerns and Australian films might confer some bias. The scripting, cinematography, and music were all excellent. Nick Cave is quite the Renaissance man. Colonial Australia must have been a brutal place to live.

Followed by a weird Hungarian black comedy/thriller about some inept ticket inspectors for the (Budapest?) metro. Pretty original movie if nothing else, and just funny/strange/interesting enough to keep me watching.
