Kiya, is the new sugarcane shirt running on the small side?

They run the same as all Sugar Cane shirts...

They run quite true to size..

hey kiya, do you guys usually ship stuff via fedex with signature confirmation? just wondering if the fedex guys will leave the package at my door or if I should plan on being at home when they arrive.

Normally they'd want a signature unless you leave them a note saying to leave it on your doorstep..

i think its against their policy for them to do so. I have tried to do that so many times and so has my dad. Every time we leave a note asking them to please leave it, they leave a note back. Then we have to pick it up from the store. never a problem with non signature confirmation though

kiya, when will you restock the f310? unfortunately size 32 is sold out. :/

We'll have more in a few hours when the shipment comes in.

Self Edge x Buzz Rickson Loopwheeled Crew-Neck Sweatshirts - RUM BATS!

A new take on the vintage military design of the Vampire Bats crew-neck sweatshirt originally reproduced by Buzz Rickson. Take from the design what you will... It holds true for us.

Available in limited numbers on Buzz Rickson's loopwheeled sweatshirts, the ultimate sweatshirt for those looking for a great fit from a super soft and warm fabric.

Buzz Rickson's Premium 1930's & 1940's all-cotton athletic sweatshirts are proof that yet there is still hope in finding simple basics made with the care that Toyo puts into producing these. Made from 13-ounce 100% cotton fabricated on 1920's-vintage loop-wheeling machines, styled with all the correct features found on the old sweatshirts and cut to hug the body in a flattering form without bulk just as the vintage originals did.

This is the real deal, meant for those who crave a slice of the good old days to perfectly compliment a pair of Japanese selvedge denim dungarees.

Modeled by Carl & Kixslf, shot by SidneyLo.

Available now in-store and in our online store in limited quantities. Along with the SEXBR sweatshirt we also now have grey sweatshirts which are blank:

Sugar Cane Winter 2009 - Shirts!

Four shirts from Sugar Cane's first output for 2009...

Two new shirts and two restocks of the most popular denim shirts we sell at Self Edge.

The Con Flannel Work-shirt and the Red Heat Work-Shirt are both new items and we've finally got a restock of the purple and light blue denim shirts. The selvedge denim shirts are very popular because they're far softer and more wearable than your traditional denim shirt.

These are now available online, once they sell out there is no restocks as all SC products are made to order. Check the online store for measurements, specs, and hi-res photos. The two new shirts are modeled by Carl and shot by SidneyLo:

New Lightning Magazine, American Dreamin' with Flat Head, Real Japan Blues, and Googies.

I see some coverage of the Flat Head party at Self Edge..

I see PeteRok, Jaime, Dick Danger, TAYS, Sonny, Boxthor, Doc, Clay (who probably is getting aroused by the fact that his photo is below the FH jacket he owns), Demitra, and somebody else from Sufu getting his bandana signed...

Also, the shirts that will take the place of FH's chambray for 2009, their selvedge herringbone shirts..

for those of you who are calling in to order or coming in to pick up this issue, it will not be available for another 2 weeks.

Hold ya horses...but it is a glorious issue and is well worth the wait.

Flat Head 2009 Winter Shirts, Flannels, Jackets, Bracelets, Lanyards, & BURGER CITY

We've got a new shipment of some great items from Flat Head...

The popular jacquard fabric has been made into a long sleeve western shirt, anybody that's seen this fabric in person understands why this is still the best selling Flat Head shirt in Japan. The fabric has been woven on a vintage punch-card jacquard loom which is owned by Flat Head; it takes hours setting up one machine to run a bolt of fabric but worth it once the end product is turned into such a unique shirting material.

We've finally got Flat Head's take on a Hickory Stripe shirt..

The fabric on the Hickory Stripe Shirt is a custom run that Flat Head had made for them under their Googies sub-brand. The pique cotton fabric is unique in that it's woven in such a way where there is a great deal of character for a hickory stripe pattern. The pockets are also something new for Flat Head with a zipper pull enclosure and a double placket pocket design.

They've also brought us a new heavy flannel shirt... The Glory Park shirt is a great 60's gray flannel pattern that is a bit different than what Flat Head has done in the past.

We've gotten a hold of a small number of a Type II 1950's Style Denim Jacket made of Flat Head's famous 3XXX denim, these are completely raw and shrink to size and they're also available down to women's sizes. The Type II is modeled by Superfuture's own Carl..

Then there's the BURGER CITY pullover sweater with a zipper, we have nothing to say about this. We bought it because it says "BURGER CITY" on the front, and below it there's an address, that address is a San Francisco address a few blocks from Self Edge but the street name is misspelled. We love it, and it's being modeled by Sidney Lo's father.

The Flat Head Special Edition Leather Chain with a Sterling Silver Feather is also back with a slightly bulked up design, these are sure to go quick and it takes us months to get a set of these made so restocks don't happen often.

We're happy to announce that the popular bracelets we've been selling in-store made of cowhide leather and sterling silver are now available in our online store.

All these items along with a full restock on ALL of Flat Head's jeans are now available in our online store, check the product pages in our online store for measurements, specs, and hi-res photos:

kiya how much shrinkage is expected after a cold wash and hang dry for the SC Con Western Flannel Work Shirt?

Not much at all... they're rinsed.

A cold wash and line dry will barely shrink the shirt.

how would you suggest cleaning a rjb kasuri? dryclean?

I wash mine in cold water, inside out, and then let it line dry.

You could always dry clean it if you want it to keep looking new and prevent any sort of shrinkage (it doesn't shrink that much anyway with a normal cold wash).
