Word of Mouth - The Crust & Fades Contest

Only the jeans are part of the contest and judging.  It's testing my memory but iirc this came with my jeans as they took longer to arrive and I started the contest a few weeks later (which is unimportant as it won't matter in the long run). It's fading in my pocket nicely so I thought to share with the crew. There may be others in circulation, I don't know.

So my workaround to get the last image to post was to create a link in my Google photos and use the web link upload rather than the direct upload. Now that's giving me a red error as well. At this point, I am no longer able to upload any photos at all to the forum either from my phone or from my computer.

That's going to make continuing my updates and participation difficult. Bizarre that this is only happening to me, but it's not isolated to just my computer or just my phone.

this might be a dumb question or something you've already considered, but are your files the right format? JPG? If you're shooting with an iPhone sometimes you can make .heic (the live captures) that get cranky with different applications, but that can be turned off easily.

^^^Could it be some kind of network related 'blocker'? A VPN or something like that?

Right.  Exporting out of the Photos app renders a jpeg image which works here.

@ATWM, they're definitely jpegs. Just double checked. I take photos on a Pixel 6a. I've never had trouble before these past few weeks.

@CSL, I don't use any web privacy stuff (though I know I should). I also thought perhaps it was a browser setting issue, but it's happening on both my computer and phone. I guess I could try a non-Google browser

Yes. Could be that. Not directly related but I had to switch from Safari to Chrome for FB video calls. No idea why it didn't work with Safari.

Not an ideal solution but for right now you could email to a moderator to post on your behalf?
