It looks great, Bill! BTW, is that the Lamy 2000 pen? And where did you get your hat?:)

Just regular old Uniball micro rollerballs. The only pen I buy. Hat was from Chucks Vintage.

Looks fantastic, Bill. That denim looks so much better after a soak/wash. Did you ever take better photos of your khaki deck pants?

No deck pant pics yet!! Its been bizarrely warm in LA for stretches this winter.. haven't worn them as much as I wanted to. I'll get on it though

Yeah seriously bill! And maybe updates on your cpo? That is if there's anything to show yet!

Gimme an hour or two today, I'll get some pics taken.... wearing it at the store today

Great photo guys. Stick it in black and white, looks like it could have taken years ago (ok, airbrush out the modern cars in the background).

Bill - the vest rocks! Can't wait for mine to come thru - damn UK postal service.

^Daaaaamn! That's epic!

What are your jeans, Bill?

Jeans are Stronghold Utility pants. These are my actual workpants.. they're covered in paint, oil, etc.. I also play around with customizing them. They have "PW" stenciled on the legs like old Prison issue pants and I've added a side pocket, a 'la Mister Freedom too them. The cuffs are handstitched like some of my khaki's I've shown before.

I've had my Pcoat since may last year, and while it's hard to determine how much wear it actually got as its a coat I'd say I've put about 8 months of proper "coat wear" in it, as I've been wearing it as much as possible.

I decided that it would be time for a small handwash to see if I could make some wear pop out and also to shrink it back in shape a little as I think it stretched a fair bit in the shoulders and arms.

It's currently drying and still too wet and dark to see anything, and in my experience there isn't that much new to see directly after washing anyway.

I did take some pre wash pics and figured it'd be fun to thrown them up.

I'd say it's a decent start.

On the one hand I can't wait for it to be properly beat up and faded, on the other I already can't get enough of the way it looks right now.

More to come when I have more to show.

love that peacoat. I know what you mean about denim jackets / coats, you always want them to be worn in because they look so beautiful but also the fact that they take SO long to wear in makes it so much more rewarding when they finally start to show some signs of good wear.

peacoat looks fantastic, cotton! Looks like you got some serious wear in. I haven't had any fading on mine yet, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it wears. But, I also want that thing to last forever :) Well done...

Guest Selvage Seb.

For all us Europeans who wants to see it, taste it and try it before buying..

in The Netherlands there is a shop called Butcher of Blue/ Best of Brands wich is selling Mister Freedom in store (dont know if mentioned before, apologies if so)

I could not believe my eyes when in saw the shirts/jackets in real life, amazing!

as far as I know the only retailer in Europe

It's a very cool shop, a nice heritage looking interior with a lot of vintage pieces

Love it

Here are a couple photos of my Utility Shirt that I picked up from kiya a couple weeks ago. I was always confused by this shirt, because I couldn't quite tell the difference between it and the CPO. It is the precursor to the CPO? Anyway, I saw this last medium sitting on the SE website but didn't buy it because I thought it would shrink too much. It wasn't until I was at SE and kiya told me it was one wash that I realized it would fit. Lucky me!

I did a quick cold soak to aid in breaking it in. The denim got super hairy after the soak. Yet another amazingly designed, constructed, and fitting piece from MFSC!

Burg & Schild in Berlin, but they usually stock only small quantities and selected pieces!

Looks good.

The CPO is the modified "liberty issue" version of the Utility shirt; heavier denim (alot!), tone stitching, liberty cuffs and stitching on the inside, some room added in the sleeve at the cuff.

That makes sense. I've never had the chance to try on a CPO. The sleeves and cuffs are pretty slim on the Utility shirt, and the denim isn't that heavy. I'm really liking it though, especially after a few wears.
