to all you edwin heads, who are in berlin during the bread & butter 2009 (01.-03.07.):

there will be a edwin/burg&schild party on the 02.07. - access only if you visit the shop the same day!

definiately not!!!!

There a prewash for one, so buy some raw edwins instead.

You also should not spend more than about $100 on edwins!

sorry to dig this thread up... is there any information kicking around on the different edwin fabrics and what not? do people follow the styles?

i'm looking for some information everwhere and i can't figure out a couple things, like what does it mean when a model is named SEN, what cuts are out there, etc

Sen is the model. Im pretty sure it relates to the fact that its always a salvage denim. The sen comes in slim, baggy and loose fits and a variety of washes.

SEN is the model. They are also know as 505. What the 501-model is for Levi's, is the 505 (SEN) model for Edwin Japan.

They are completely made in Japan. Don't know if all raw 505's come with selvage, though.

ED is the European line of Edwin, the Rainbow selvages ones do come with Japanese denim, but are assembled in Tunisia (like all ED's)

not all 505 come with selvage, mine are 505x and do not have it at all, i think it has to be something like 505ZX or 505SX, i forgot.

Made in japan, 10 or 11 oz red selvage japanese denim. One of the nicest jeans around imo.

Uh, and they're vanity sized. Size down 2 from your regular size.

^Thanks. Tbh, I don't wear them often, they still look the same. It's a shame, I know, I've got too much other denim so the poor Edwins are most time in the closet. Those are Sen Selvage, no cinch, really great pair. Thanks again, I've got to wear them again pretty soon...

Edwin Waynesville. 5+ years old. Infrequent wear combined with relatively frequent washing. Very un-Sufu. No photo-shopping or anything, I'm not that clever.

got this edwin wall calendar off ebay for about $10 shipped

havent really seen anything like it, dont know if its legit, but im assuming so.

its made out of raw denim and has two real pockets.

this thing is pretty thick and the pockets are as strong as any real jeans pockets.
