    TCB

This sounds great, been searching for what my next pair of jeans would be and this ticks so many boxes WW2 era cut and TCB fabric. Super excited!

Apparently the state of emergency in Japan has just been lifted so you may see some movement on the EMS front soon.

    Levi's Vintage Clothing

So LVC has become like every other limited edition hype-driven item and its bought by resellers to flip and make a profit. Good luck to that ebayer, but I can't imagine anyone paying that much for them.

    Freewheelers, Bootleggers Reunion, Bubo, etc.

Fed Ex put up all their prices as well, suspended their normal service and only using priority service and then slapping a surcharge on priority.

    Levi's Vintage Clothing

Its japan and the USA, followed by Europe. There are five pairs that have the Big E, rest are normal. LVC just updated the info on their IG page.

I think it comes down to RMC having specific conditions for retailers to stock the brand. There is a large minimum buy and you can't put the items on sale. So I'm assuming that this limits the number of stores that can pick up an account. So in a way, I feel like RMC have limited who they can work with so that going with a large mainly online retailer like END, who would introduce the brand to a different demographic would make business sense to them. Aesthetically I can see how people think its a strange fit, I find the styling rigid and I imagine a lot of END customers glossing over the brand due to the prices.

    Warehouse Competition Poll (Part 2) - DD-1003xx / 1946

Seems like it's you that is missing the point If you can't see how Trump and others are whipping up anti-Chinese and in general racist attitudes to people of Asian heritage for political gain. Its a virus it came from China, but it doesn't discriminate. Yes, they called it the Spanish flu in 1918, but that was a hundred years ago and there a lot of things people did back then, that we wouldn't do now. Here in Australia, because people are calling it the "Chinese Virus" the incidents of racist abuse to Chinese and other minorities are rising as people are blaming them for the virus. Can you see why some people find it problematic to label COVID 19 the "Chinese Virus"?

@Geeman Yeah its a condition of carrying the brand as a retailer that you can't discount RMC items. I was in a menswear store in Seoul a few years back and they had a one day 5% off RMC sale. It was the only time I ever remember seeing RMC on sale.

Is the lot 54 the widest legs of the bunch? Looking for something with a decent rise and a little wider leg than the lot 64s.

Might be more shipping issues soon if Trump gets his way and doesn't bail out USPS. https://www.inquirer.com/health/coronavirus/coronavirus-covid-19-mail-trump-postal-service-20200411.html

@Muck DynastyMost things will shrink weird in the dryer. That's not unique to 3sixteen. I like Lady White Co. tees a lot. The cotton is super soft, their necklines stay intact and they actually hold shape really well. They have put out some heavyweight and some new lightweight cotton styles as well. My only criticism is that I'm really in between the M and L size, like a lot of brands. If I messing with a cheap brand then it's Gildan. I had a bunch of Alstyle blanks that are about 12 years old that are only falling apart now. However, they don't make the same style anymore so I can't comment on how the current ones feel or hold up.

    CORONA LOCKDOWNS

@SSchadenfreude Seems like the WHO advice was upgraded in the last few days. They have changed their stance from dogs and cats cannot get corona, to whilst it may be possible for them to get it, they cannot spread it to humans. The already made a Romper Stomper tv series and it was terrible.

    CORONA LOCKDOWNS

@SSchadenfreude Why is Romper Stomper relevant at all? Cats and dogs cannot get coronavirus. @superfuture You can get the virus multiple times, so theoretically its better to get it as late as possible in the hope that they have either devised a cure or a vaccine.
  16. I haven't seen their garments since they moved construction to Japan, however, the last made in USA stuff I had from them was just as good it has always been.
  17. @rockon99 Post is still doing things. Takeshi recently moved back to Japan and they have opened a new flagship store in Tokyo. They skipped a season a while back, whilst they organised moving all their production from made in the USA to made in Japan. I feel like they are concentrating on the Japanese market more these days.

What's changed since? aside from the son taking over. Are they using different factories?

My beef with the Joe McCoy 2 pack tees was that they shrunk a whole size after a hot wash. Becoming pretty much unwearable.

    Levi's Vintage Clothing

@andyrcii No mine are not on grailed. Its worth noting that the 47 waist fits small. So the tagged 30" is actually a 29".

I have a deadstock cone denim 47 in size 30/34" if anyone keen. Will do a Sufu friendly price

@brainer666 Signature is a good option as well. However, I've had the unfortunate situation where someone had signed for the order, then the customer claimed he never got it. It then comes down to your word against theirs. Having said that, I've sold dozens of things marked as a gift and a lower value and 99% of the time it works out for everyone.

@eddyraddish Use EMS to send to Japan, it's tracked and very quick. Japanese post is a lot more reliable than Russia. However at the end of the day, if the buyer turns around and says he never got what you sent, it's very hard to prove otherwise even with tracking. If you are really unsure of the buyer, insure the package for what its worth. It costs you extra but also protects you. It just means that the buyer is going to get hit with a hefty import tax bill. Avoid using Ebay's international service. It's not any safer and is simply an extra step in the shipping process and will add extra cost and time to how long the package takes to get to where it's going.

40% discounting doesn't necessarily mean that the lines are being discontinued. We've seen heavy discounts on LVC every season for the past couple of years. Like Bod says its more a sign of a slowing economy. Does it hurt the brand, however? I think the answer is yes, as everyone waits until it goes on sale. So the motivation for the brand and the stores to continue to carry the line diminishes.
  25. They do make a 30 in some doek models, whilst other models only go up to 28. They do run long and narrow, so whilst I'm usually a 26.5cm I need the 27cm for the width.
