Nice thread. Been jamming the new Rhinocervs compilation and it absolutely slays. Ordered the Bone Awl/Ashdautas split which finally (THREE FUCKING YEARS) came out. Also interested in new CW Productions latest CS, Grand Mood. Kestrel-Weather Eye is one of the most bizarre cassettes I've heard in a long time, really interesting, almost garagey at times (particularly the vocals)

enemy of the sun > souls at zero

Both are being repressed this year I believe, I forget which label though. I've really been enjoying the resurgence of 90s styled death metal, bands like krypts, miasmal, vorum, bone sickness are all bringing it!

Go!

is a word that defies definition

it needs no clarification

Go!

is the foundation of hardcore

but for me it means so much more

Go!

it can signify a chorus or a fast part, too

a sing along with my friends or a heavy breakdown

let's fucking Go!!!

so c'mon man, don't be ashamed

screaming "Go!" is not a game

and for all the bands who don't say it

you are so fucking lame

1-2-3 Go!

next time you are at a show

and the crucial moment arrives

point your finger and shout Go!

the word Go! is for everyone

and to say it is so much fun

but the emo kids hate it

next time you are at a show

and the crucial moment arrives

point your finger and shout Go!

anyways, been jamming a lot of vaccine recently, and new pig destroyer is pretty good. coke bust LP is really good, Sick fix finally put out a full length,

AND INFEST IS PLAYING SEVERAL SHOWS

not quite black metal but i found this experimental noise group called bonedust a few months ago, pretty unnerving creepy music, good for breaking up a partry, or getting people to leave your house.

other than that

deafheaven has been getting a lot of plays from me lately, as well as sutekh hexan.

I know there are like 3 dead threads dedicated to various metal sub-genres, but why don't we just consolidate it all into one thread.. talk about what you're listening to, who you saw, who rules, who sucks, and so on.

Heavy/Doom/Stoner/Black/Extreme/Sludge/etc.

Been listening to the Power Trip Manifest Decimation album lately. So good, can't wait to see them in October.
