Has anyone ever created a book? I want to make one with photos and text and I want the binding like this pic and a linen cover, maybe with some embossing or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i've done some, but am still not to the point where they're turning out perfect. do a search on flickr for book binding and there's a ton of good reference images and links to really good tutorials. there are also good videos on youtube.

flickr is like GIS on steroids. i find myself searching that instead of google a lot of the time, especially when i need to look stuff up in other languages.

Suze, are you using silver wire for all these?

Cotton, the wire used above is a big silver-coated copper wire. That's what I use when I make a piece for the first time, the wire is quite cheap and hard enough so even when you "play" with it, it's not gonna move too much unless you want it to.

I've done a little, some personal stuff and a few things for Bad Idea magazine. I'd love to do some more but since I graduated the work is only just beginning to trickle in. Need to do more to promote myself!

Not sure, I was just fooling around in illustrator, working on my editorial chops. I started thinking about vaginas but I'm at work so I had to make it "art"

I guess it's more about the concept of birth?

It's meant to say piclens, it's a plugin for forefox that lets you browse certain websites by looking through a massive dynamic photo wall instead of going through page by page. I find it much quicker!
