Todd do you use conditioner or cream to darken the leather, I have the same viberg boots but they look a bit lighter in color. I really like how dark and rich yours look!

asaa that is how i got them from viberg. Cheers guys, will take your advice hollows!

What about the boots getting wet eg rain. Will the natural oils and wax do the job for a while?

any one here using trees and if so what?  i lot of the people that have spent big money on there boots dont seem to use them, is there any point?

I use shoe trees because it's hot here in Texas and I need to get the moisturea absorbed, it's also why I rotate my boots. I want my boots to last a long time and I care for them accordingly. In the winter time on the other had, I may wear boots several days in a row and neglect the shoe trees. It's up to you and your circumstances. I also use wool socks exclusively, thin in the summer and thick in the winter and this has helped tremendously, keeping both my feet and boots dry.
