i ordered my straps through gnomon and yes they take fuckin forever. mine took a month to get here. and the tracking is useless.

the Fortis is unreadable, the Oris is barely there IMO. Prefer the Sinn 'S' watches.

its the most readable stealth watch out there since the hands are covered in white lume instead of gray like the numerals

Not down with Sinn at all. Logo, broad hands, fluffy font for the arabic numerals... Much prefer the greater structure and more honest, utility marking. Could do w/o weekday.

I'd have to disagree the font used on this Oris is not flattering at all, seems so pedestrian. I'd take the Sinn over this anyday the markers on the Sinn I'd say are much more structured and more utility since all the markings are on the dial unlike the Oris which seems to be using a chapter ring for the minutes/seconds.

Also that day marker is such a weird placement totally kills the look of the dial imo

I've looked all over the place for info on a watch I got that belonged to my grandfather. It's a Bulova Accutron Automatic. I'm trying to find out when exactly it's from. Maybe some of you may know something:

get the serial number, probably on the inside of the case. then see if you can find a Bulova serial number archive. might not have them though, Bulova aren't exactly collectors items (sentimental value notwithstanding)

So I picked up this rad little vintage Citizen at a pawn shop a few days ago and I was wondering what you guys thought? It's a little bit gaudier than what I usually go for, but it's in great condition and runs like charm, especially for the miniscule price.
