Man, you were just way too harsh with us, my 2 girl-friends were saying "hey that dude is cute, he must play basketball or something for sure, we should ask him for an autograph",and then the situation evolved like you described, you didn't need to laugh at us just cuz we work at Abercrombie, that's racist!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't really laughing at them, so much as at the situation.

Okay, I was laughing at them a bit. Not because of Abercrombie so much, since they actually had decent style, but at the fact that they actually couldn't recognize anything beyond the confines of their store/scene.

Also laughing at myself because what I was wearing was worth over a grand, and yet, to them, it was actually DETRACTING from my attractiveness.

well, it's funny because i have thought about that quite a few times. most people who aren't into fashion as a whole, tend to despise/dislike everything that does not fall into their personal style, which imo makes them way more pretentious than most people on this board who have an eye and taste for (good) diversity, and yet, other people tend to think we (who spend an above reasonable money on clothing) are the ones who are pretentious.

holy shit on a shingle. i just found out my friend is babysitting an empty house for the next 3 months. no furniture, has running water/electricity, empty, on a huge piece of property. if i can bring this together right, we can throw down in a major fuckin way at this place. theres a lot of planning though. its on a private drive, not many houses in the area, but theres a patrol, and if this kids mom (the uncles sister) found out, she'd murder him, so we gotta put it under some other guise. shit, this is almost too perfect.

this is a 50/50 thing. im hoping we can swing it the right way.

that is a terrible terrible idea....he's housesitting based on the fact that his family trusts him and he's going to throw a party in it ? it might sound a bit rich coming from me, but that's a level of trust i wouldn't fuck with were i him.

hahaha please post back when the owners find out and your friend gets in trouble

yeah well, theres that. the uncle is a cool guy, he works in the music business just like this kid, so he's not really that high strung. and the property itself is pretty secluded, theres nothing in the house and i can explicitly talk to the uncle if need be. its sorta my deal to lay out the plan for this. the kids mom is gone the weekend we're thinking of having it, and the uncle doesn't even live in the country, so it can go either way. and clopek, i hear what you're saying, but ive helped organize parties (not that this scale, more at the beach house scale) before, so im hoping i can get it all laid out before anything can go wrong, then ill take it as it comes. the police won't fuck with this area cause its private, and the patrol that works there calls it a night around 10pm, theres about 1/8th of a mile between each house, and theres ample room for the cars to be parked.

its gonna take a lot of planning, and if it can't happen, it can't happen. its a very ehhh shot at this point, but im hoping i can get it rolling.

18 in > than a month.

its sorta a partial last gasp high school thing. i wish it was end of the school year, cause it would make it that much sweeter, but this is pre-holidays, so thats not so bad. but its a lot fo work to do to be able to throw it by the date we have in mind.

i got to parties in peoples houses all the times. not empty houses, just houses. sometimes the parents are there, sometimes they're not. its just such an opportunity as this cannot be passed up, im sure you can understand.

we found an abandoned campsite back in highschool. Run down cabins and what not, everything structurally was still sound though, it was buried in the woods of a yet to be constructed development. The parties there were really fucking epic. I had a better time there than any regular house party. We went there all winter, drank by the fires. It was a great time.....

that sounds much better than someone's house. When I was 14-15, I often went to parties at an abandoned quarry. it was great because you didnt have to be careful about breaking anything.

theres nothing to break in this house. its empty, completely empty. we plan on covering the windows in fabric or tap and cardboard to make sure no one fucks that shit up, and we're gonna find some free couches so people can sit comfortably, but its a lot of work before we have anything set in stone. im going up to see the house this week.
