i've emailed diabro.net (where i saw these), but this was the response i got:

"The shoes in the pictures are not available on Diabro.net as they are the model's own. As far as I am aware they were made by Converse and are part of the X-Hi range of Chucks."

couldn't find anything based on this either.

need some nice quality dress shoes for work. ferragamo? no more than $300. ferramgamo is out of the question actually and i have a feeling $300 is on the super low end.

Charles Tyrwhitt, Allen Edmonds and Florsheim all have good shoes in the 1-3 hundred price range.

I highly reccomend Bally.

I've got a pair of Bally Canols and Brigas. Either would be a great choice.

Search Zappos, Nordstorm etc. They regularly go on sale.

I'm thinking of buying red wing rw-8165 boots

http://www.rakuten.co.jp/tiptop/604459/604437/#580430

I can't decide what size should I buy, us10 or us10.5 or us11.

Normally in sneakers I wear us11, in some even 11.5 (but that's rare). But some us10.5 are fine with me too... So, I guess us11 (29cm) is my very true size. I would really like to hear someone's experience on these particular boots, how they fit etc.

Oh, and I'm going to wear them in cold winter conditions with warm thick socks.

Personally, I'm thinking that us11 would be too large, but I don't know maybe even us10.5 are large. :( I've never had any red wings boots.

Some examples of shoes I own and their sizes:

Vans slip-ons US11 (29cm)

Reebok classic sneakers - US11 (29cm)

Nike (don't remember model) - us11.5 (29.5cm) :o

Puma sneakers - us11

Anyone? :)

Anyone know how the Bson stuff fits? Pit to pit on any of the items would be great. I'm between small and medium and i think a small in the hoodie would be good but i'm not sure about the henley and tshirt. I'm normally a small in AA tshirts 6ft 155lbs blah blah blah. Thanks to anyone with experience with the stuff.

Boo shirts or cdg shirt shirts?

The more you elaborate the better.

Cheers

what's the occasion?

i have a few boo shirts and cdg shirts.

unfortunately, i only own cdg homme and homme plus.

boo is def. more slim cut than cdg but your question isn't specific enough

for me to give you any good answers.

I'm looking for some quality pieces for building a good base wardrobe and wonder were to start. For some reason these two brands have cought my attention. I guess my question should be more like: How do they compare quality and fit wise? It's still a general question but I've got a general issue. ;)

I can't really try them on before I order, which is why I ask. Sorry for my noobiness.
