I got the midnight par at Marshalls and i got the other pair at the Levi's store.

damn. i've been looking for a pair of midnights all over the place.

the only place i know that had them is mervyns but they're out of business.

where else do you think i can get a pair of those.

I hot soaked mine for 30 minutes, it's really you're own preference, it doesn't really matter because they aren't like 24oz denim.

Turns out my friend's dad has a brand new deadstock pair of 501 STF's from like 1989. Too bad he's tall and skinny, 28x36

Oh well, finds like that make me smile regardless. Mayhap his son can break em in when we go work on a farm for a couple of months this summer.

they were raw/dry? and selvedge.

Maybe they were the LEVIS 501XX 1966 REDLINE SELVEDGE RAW DENIM JEANS?

Could be LVC. Pics would help, or you could check the interior tags.

Levi's tried shilling a couple stf's in low-buck selvedge. One was a standard cut and one was a 1947-ish cut, both selling at around $100. J.Crew was the only store I noticed trying to pawn them off at the ridiculous $200+ price though.

Here's my pair of Indigo STF. I've had them since October 2008, so well over a year but maybe 8 months of wear total and several washes.

The pics where flash was used are probably the most accurate representation of the color. The last two pics are pretty washed out.

Sup fellas, forgive me for all the pictures. Started these almost exactly 1 year ago (January 1, 2009), started off with a hot soak and hang dry. First wash at the end of May (hot wash, hot dry), rain drenched mid June, second wash in August (hot wash, hot dry) and here we are today. These were for the mynudies.com 501 contest and if you guys like what you see, please vote for me thanks!

ok so today i went to Macy's and came across a pair of 505s... they seemed like they were raw so i picked them up, i'll post pix later... is anyone familiar with this? they were extremely similar to 501 STF's and they fault raw... if anyone could shed some light on these it would be great

yeah - well, for as little as i wear my 501s i'm seeing a lot of lighter color coming out of the creased areas and such. plus i sized down and hot washed to start, so the legs are slimmer
