i bought true to size

boiling hot soak in tub for an hour then throw them in a hot wash cycle...then the dryer. Let's us see the outcome.

were yours part of the crazy raw is same as tag size batch or were yours 2 inches bigger than tag size when you got them?

edit: there were some 710s that in raw state were the same as the tag size. example a 29 tag showed up to customers with a raw waist of 29 inches.

i dont understand but it had to be soaked to shrink to tagged

I am planning to buy a pair of s5000vx but not really sure about the size because it seems that lot 10 measures tag size in raw and then shrinks 2" after a soak.

I wear my RRDS in 33 for a comfortable fit/semi-baggy fit. I also wear a ALD frontier in 32.

So I was thinking about the size 33 or size 34 for these s5000vx.

Oh, I also have a pair of evisu's that have a 32.8 waist measured in BIG-style, I don't want to end up with something tighter than this in the waist.

What do you guys think?

hi chinaman you wont be unsatisfied with these jeans they are the best. and they fit great! i think you should buy a 33. i bought true to size and these are going great.

im a true 28 i think iw ish i sized down or at least gotten these tapered.

yeah, i understand. actually i have a pair of sams...but they're too big. i was going to buy a 28 in hopes of it being more slim fitting (i'm your height and about your weight) but i guess that isn't the answer either...maybe the s5000vx just isn't for me. =/

not sure if sizing down to a 27 would help. my big issue with these jeans is that they aren't tapered (or if they are its VERY little).

Considering they are referencing poly, it would make sense. The angle/light def make the color come off as as a pale ocean blue to me. I can see the bk, though.

How nice would it be to have a pair of zero denim jeans in a deep blue with grey stictching?

they'll fit great after awhile or try soaking them twice to get all the shrinkage outta the way. i was satisfied after my second one.

Hi. I was wondering what size should i get in s5000vx.

i wear a sz 36 in Gap straight selvedge and a 36 in SLIM jims.

I kinda want to wear it raw instead of giving it a wash.

Help is appreciated.

But you have to soak them first...it's the law....

Yes, I agree with Beatle. Do not wear them raw, it'll look stupid and all the fading will end up in odd places when you eventually have to wash.

yeah youll have honeycombs where your ass is or something.

they may look cool at first but give them a soak in hot water. it feels like grip tape or something new.

if you like wearing pretty slim i think you should size 1 down
