Kinda 1st World Problems but I'd like folks to weigh in.

So I've got a Macbook Pro and love it, but I'm looking to get a desktop as well. I'm not really looking to go the PC route, so I'll probably get an iMac.

However, I'm not sure if I should go with the 21.5 inch and upgrade some of the features... or the 27 inch with no additions. I'm not really looking to spend over $2000 that's why I'm shying away from the 27 inch with additions. I'm also not sure if the 27 inch would big excessively big for everyday use and look ridiculous in my apartment.
