exactly 32/34 after an one hour soak in hottest tab water.but:thats what an ordered w 32 should measure,not a 33.looks like mine is a little undersized too.the waist stretched to 33 now,as the whole fit of the jeans is a lot looser like yesterday.

I would guess that Roy did allow for some stretching; two inches shrinkage and one of stretch is what you'd normally expect. Altho some seem undersize anyway - but nothing that isn't easy to cope with. (I hope). Part of the fun of shrink to fit.

Yes it seems the brits, pomata and the the antipodean crew have yet to share in the joy of receiving theirs.

Your raw fit looks spot on Fardin. I was going to do the same as a sort of 'homage' to airfrog (as he couldn't be in it) but judging by the other contestants' measurements/comments, I'll just take the hand I'm dealt.

That postie simply left the postcard with my neighbours. The iPhone was 'delivered' by parcelforce, a semi-privatised part of the post office who are far worse than your average postie. The empty jiffy bag was handed over to my neighbours, who reckoned the delivery man looked very cheerful, probably in anticipation of selling the iPhone in the pub that night.

A bit worrying, as they've got a signature the retailers might claim the phone has been delivered.

a little later than everyone here but finally found a bit of time to do a super hot soak. fit is a bit too loose in the waist, so we'll see how it works out. hell, they do bleed a lot.

i told roy that im a 32 and here are the measurements that i got on my pair just in case there are some of you who are interested who have not received their pair yet.. will put up some post soak measurements tmr night.

waist: 32 inches

length: 32 inches

front rise: 11 inches

back rise: 14 inches inches

thigh: 11.5 inches

knee: 8.75 inches

leg opening: 8.5 inches

I can see your 32" pair is also downsized. My pair is still drying and STIFF LIKE WOOD. Dunno if I can wear 'em or soak 'em another time to get rid off all that starch.

somehow kind of glad that they are though, since they are a tad loose on me. gave them a quick cold rinse after the super hot soak to get rid of more starch, currently drying now but hell they have quite a bit of a leg twist!

The fit seems to be a little flared out from the waist on mine. I actually like this, because once the waist stretches, it has a nice straight fit from the waist. Usually, I also have to stretch the entire top half, but not on these.

Here's my 47, on the left, and the 55 on the right. The 47 had a 33 waist, raw, the 55 a 32. Both stretch to 32 after wash and wear but the 55, altho smaller, are still comfier.

I don't think they are quite as pronounced as your 55's, Paul, but I will say that the top block is roomier compared to other jeans I've worn with the same waist measurement.

Actually, thinking about that hip flare, and diaper ass - they have to be more like a 55 in terms of room around the thighs and groin. So I can still have children.

Edit: thanks, Ran and Zissou. yep, it does flare out a fair bit at the seat. It means I can simply put a piece of wood in the waist as they dry, rather than sitting in them.

hahah yeah, they are nowhere near tight on me. My MFSCs were real ball splitters at first, and the worst I've had with these is a mini wedgie that went away after 3 days.

Nice shot of the 47 vs. the 55. Funny how there's been a 55 explosion lately... I was gifted a pair by my lil sis - not that they'll be seeing much wear this year
