If I check Samurai's HP there seem to be more pairs available again. Maybe Samurai poduced more denim as they saw how popular this jeans are. So if there is neough interest I could ask Yuichi if it's possible to do another group order.

Does anyone have experience with having them washed by him? Is it one of those superindustrialhothot washes? I'd like that. Does anyone know how much he charges?

the washing is free of charge. I don't know exactly how he washes them. I only know his wife does it at home. So most likely a normal washing machine.

My S510XX19oz from him were one-washed. Now problem. Yes, much crinkles but I ironed them out.

That's what Yuichi wrote about his washing methode:

"I always wash jeans in the hot water (around 40C like hot bath water) with all buttons fastened and inside-out.

I use detergent , dry under the sun.

With this way , I think jeans would not shrink any more after second wash."

I also asked if he can order more pairs if there is interest. He will ask Samurai.

well he said to me that he don't see any major difference to other Samurais...my pair is already shipped so no actual measurements of that one.

in the end...there's nothing we can really do about it now I assume. The jeans are ordered and we can consider ourself lucky that we could grab one

yea right, i'm not gonna cancel etc, but right now the one thing we actually can do is decide about wash.

i mean if they r too small we can do cold soak instead of machine wash etc etc.

Atleast inseam and waist sizes will help.

I'm worried about that same thing but I went ahead and jumped the gun on getting them hotwashed because I figured they'd shrink over time with wash or soak anyway. I went TTS and I'm putting all my faith in it stretching if they turn out too small. Crossing my fingers big time

IMO if there is concern over it being too small then getting raw is better. As someone pointed out, you can control the shrinking by using a cold soak & cold hand washes forever.

Yeah! Jeans is on the way to me after I have paid the balance. Now I only left with waiting for the arrival. Got a tag size 33 (tts) and hemmed to 34 inseam, unwashed.
