I never get really faded combs...bu the creases are there and there's a lighter hue on 'em

i'm mostly on my ass all day or walking around school and such. i tend to not get any significant wear in the honeycomb area, and i really wonder what people do to have such profound combing. post wash and fit:

Nice!! They look great! I am hoping I will be able to get some combs on my pair, but yeah it probably has to do with the fit, or maybe it is a special weave just for this model..

IMO it has nothing to do with the fit on this pair. It would be more an issue with the denim but we are still far away from finally judging this

Amazing, Knugget. As if I didn't feel even more inadequate for being 2 mos behind in wearing terms... I definitely need to hit the 90-day-then-wash mark before LA's summer heat turns prohibitive.

combs only come in really quick for jeans with thin knees (8.5 inch) or heavy denim that stays in place in my experience.

Yay! Finally got my samurais back. Hemmed to about a 32, so there will still be some stacks, but it won't look ridiculous. Fit pics to come later on in the week.

so 4" off. you sure you got all the shrinkage out of that pair?

Yup, about 4" off. I would have done more, but I am sure I didn't get all the shrinkage out. Once I give them a wash, but that won't be for a while, then I will find out how much more they'll shrink.

You got it, fit hasn't really changed that much, just the inseam was was shortened a bit.

Fit update of my S500JX-LR

Picture somehow made it look like the vertical fading is a lot more than it seems, I think it is how the light hit it, but don't think there isn't any vertical fading. They are about a month and a week in.

For those who think I touched the contrast, I didn't.

Some Updates

The jeans are a lot darker IRL, and the fading is more contrasted. Wish I could capture it cause the jeans look washed out, but I can't do anything that.

(Best representation of the actual color, looks a bit more faded in real life).

Nah, I have only a singlecuff right now that's actually pretty small, but ill try that next time!
