yea it might have to do with the initial raw wash that i did. it didn't leave much indigo for bleeding or to "protect" i suppose

Took some pics today. As I didn't really wear them the last 3 weeks is around 5 to 6 weeks of real wear.

anyone starting to notice any differences between the pant legs? my left leg has much more vertical streaking than my right. also appears slightly more slubbier

YES! Me too, I have also noticed that. I thought it was because it is fading faster.

I guess it's time for a late update.

It was a nightmare cold month (like -20-24c everyday), and i had a flu, so missed 1 week of wear

So right now it's like 1 month of wear.

Nuff much happening, but some stuff is already set, i can see fades near croth, on the back, some atari, etc.

And yea, i can see some differences between pant legs!

they fit so different from mine. they look damn slim on the legs and the rise looks so huge on your pic from the back. I like it

i like the fit, it's not so slim without cuffs, but when cuffed it looks slimmer, i don't know why.

They feel pretty roomy in rise, i even thinking what size 32 would fit me well. But i took 33, because i believe that they will shrink more with more washes.

Actually question: how is shrinkage and stretching after 2nd, 3rd washes?

Anybody already washed so often?

I gave mine a cold rinse after about 5 wears following their 1st hot soak, and they definitely shrunk a lot further (thanks to the agitation). I think, owing to their heavier weight, they can be expected to keep shrinking at least thru the 4th wash, depending on your choice of water temp. A hot machine wash would be guaranteed to get out a lot more (almost all) shrinkage, but I think yours' fit perfect as is. Wish mine had that much room thru the thigh.

Jeans look slimmer when cuffed because the cuff rolls the smaller leg opening up higher. Ex the hem is 8.2 and 4 inches up it is 8.5, if you cuff up 4 inches, that area becomes 8.2ish instead of 8.5

Not much happening on my pair. But the weather is nice, maybe I cycle a bit today

Washed my pair,

2 hours, hot water, veg soap.

The plan was to get rid of stretching in waist.

Pre wash / post wash measurements:

waist - 45cm / 43 cm

inseam - 85cm / 83 cm

leg opening - 22.5cm / 22 cm.

They lost some indigo, so fading is more pronounced now, but not really much.

And they are damn stiff after wash. Must be because of texas cotton.

Even stiffer than my 21 oz iron hearts.

Will take picks next week.

I was thinking about that. if someone already wahsed their contest pair aside from the normal "I wash them for shrinkage" but for cleaning and progress.

Aye, i 100% agree, i had feeling what with stretching the crotch area becomes a bit fragile because the fabric is so soft!

I also cut a tiny piece of crotch from inside, and reinforced it with thread, because i belive what this selvedge crotch corner will develop a small hole with time.

Oh god, they shrunk!

It was a bit hard to button up, but they stretched back fast.

Imho fit is better now!

Only concern is if they will continue to shrink in the future...
