Why the delay from aso2004 setterman?

No explanation other than "personal stuff". He gave me a personal email address to contact him at, which didn't work, so I PM'd him about that. Hopefully it's not another three months before I hear from him.

Jeans are back in my hands. Going to give them a wash, get some up to date measurements for everyone. I've lost some weight since I had these a year ago, so if they fit better I'd like to spend some time in them before rebooting the tour.

Couple quick pix of the jeans. Haven't had much wear over the past year. I think the short rise has made it tough on people. I gave them a quick try on, they're much more comfortable than they were a year/15lbs ago. There's a lot less nut crushing going on. Gonna need to make sure my boxers are pulled up though so my ass crack isn't hanging out when I sit! Unless anyone minds, I'm going to try wear them the rest of this month, and then ship them on.

Took some fit pix last night, but forgot to bring the camera along to work today. Plan on going to an amusement park and a 50s style diner/hot dog stand tonight. Will be sure to have lots pix tomorrow.

Gave the jeans a wash when I got them home Monday. They obviously hadn't been washed in a while and had stretched out quit a bit. The wash shrunk 'em back up and made 'em nearly as tight as I remember from last summer. Couldn't find my measuring tape so I used a yard stick to take a couple measurements..... front rise is 11", IIRC back rise is 15", thigh a little under 13". The waist must have shrunk down below 38", but stretches out easily while still damp and shouldn't be a fit issue for anyone.

Okay, let's see if I can get things going again. Still live in north western Pennsylvania (NWPA). Last night my girlfriend and I went to Waldamere amusement and water park in Erie PA, at the foot of Presque Isle peninsula.

Here's a couple views of the park and peninsula from the ferris wheel. It was windy, the gondola was rocking, and I'm terrified of heights, so didn't take that great of photos from here....

The wacky shack, and old fun house ride, a Waldamere classic. It's smaller sister Ride, the Devil's Den is located about 45 miles south at Conneaut Lake Park. Hope to make it to Conneaut in the next week or two.

Cool old roller coaster, the Comet. Like everything else at Waldamere, surrounded by trees and tough to photograph as a whole.

My favorite ride of the night, the Steel Dragon. You ride in a four man car, two facing forward, two facing back, and the car's compartment spins 360 degrees while going along the tracks. Laughed the entire ride.

Had dinner at the park... the $18 for two burger, two fries, and two drinks wasn't worth remembering in digital photo. After we left the park we drove further on to the peninsula to Sally and Sara's. Couldn't get a good outside shot of Sara's, but here's the hot dog man that greats you at the door and the shops interior.

Got an exterior shot of Sally's dinor (next door to Sara's), closed of course. I don't know when they're actually open.

Long week at work, busy evening of rides, food, and finally ice cream = tired girlfriend. Called it a night a little after 10.

Have a trapshooting event on Sunday, and then stock car races at the local dirt track that evening, both of which I'd like to photograph for the tour. We'll see if the weather cooperates, right now rain is predicted.

Quick update. The girlfriend and I have been wanting to take a road trip to Conneaut Ohio this summer, to go to White Turkey drive in. Finally got around to it last night. Just took a couple pictures. Today's trapshoot wasn't rained out, but I was exhausted and half a zombie and didn't feel like taking pix.

Nothing too exciting tonight. Most of the evening revolved around being outdoors with the setter. After work we went for a little walk in the woods and fields around the house, then we took a short drive to the Woodcock Dam, four miles south of my home. The dam has a nice park for the setter to run around in later in the evening. After seven it's too dark to go into the woods around the house.

Spent tonight along Lake Erie. There is an amphitheater along Erie's bay front that has a free concert series held during July and August called Eight Great Tuesdays. Rather than deal with the beautiful people and the lack of parking, we accepted an invitation from a friend of my girlfriend's to come to their yacht club next to the amphitheater where we'd still be able to hear the music just fine. View east, toward Erie's downtown seen along the horizon.

View to the west toward the amphitheater, which now that I can see a larger version of the photo, is hidden behind the trees!

Me. Left the tour jeans at home tonight, my nuts needed a break after wearing them to work. Wearing LVC 66s. Damn my hair is getting thin....

Fun night. Glad we didn't fight the crowd to go to the amphitheater area because the music was terrible. Planning on going to an Erie Seawolves baseball game tomorrow night, and then I'll avoid downtown Erie for the rest of the week. It's We Love Erie days, and the beautiful people will be out in force. Main event is a free performance by Kansas Saturday night. No thanks!
