A little more non-picture clutter, but I figured I'd post my question in here instead of starting a whole new thread for it. Here's the deal: I've got a Nikon N70. I like it. I can't afford a DSLR right now, period. However, I want to be able to digitize my pictures for PS/Aperture work and storage.

So... I'm thinking a film scanner is the best option for this. I've been reading about the new Epson V200, which has 4800x9600 dpi capabilities and a transperency adapter for slides and negatives. I really don't know much about film scanners other than what I've recently read, so what's everyone's opinion? Is it possible to get a quality one for cheap? The V200 is only $99, and, while it sounds good on paper, I get the feeling $99 won't actually buy me a good film scanner. I don't need to be printing at any larger than 8x10, I mainly just want to be able to scan negatives to good quality jgps. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

i'm getting a headache AND feeling a little dizzy with that tilting...

airfrog, really liked the first two photos. i'm a fan of architectural and urban degeneration photos...i need more practice at my own camera though.

but sometimes they can become a little too convenient? at least that's what i find...if you pick a frame with vivid colours with some decay you usually get a half decent shot. i over-simplify of course, but how do you prevent this sense of convenience from settling in? thoughts anybody

The more time I put into photography, the more and more I'm becoming less of a sufu-er. Which is fine because I have a life now ^_^.

(sorry for the crazy ghosting... I accidently kept my shitty uv filter on)
