Yesterday when I was out back taking my post soak fit pics some people broke into the vacant house next door. Had my gun on me so I loaded it and looked over to where the noise was coming from and saw a bunch of teenagers leaving from the house. Called the police and they had a look around inside but they ultimately didn't do anything since the homeowner will have to file their own police report.

Judging from his "god-awful pics" on page 129 the neighbourhood is rather beautiful. Maybe a beautiful and dangerous suburbia place with bored teenagers and a pissed off xchen getting tired of those middle class slackers roaming the hood?

I actually live in a pretty nice area. The cops told me it isn't unusal and that "with a vacant house like that it doesn't take long before every kid in the neighborhood knows about it and starts coming to tear shit up."

As for owning/carrying a gun, it's quite common here. While my area is pretty good I make fairly frequent trips downtown or to less safe areas. I generally don't like to be obnoxious about it, so I usually keep it either concealed or just go without it.

And also I am kind of like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino if you leave out the racism bit.

xchen - what type of gun you own? Last time I was in Las Vegas (going in 2 weeks, woohoo) at The Gun Shop ($8 to shoot an AK47 with 2 magazines cartridges), they were selling pump action shotguns for $79.99.

my pair arrived yesterday and i snapped a bunch detail and raw fit pics:

i have another pair of eternals, but they came one wash, so it's pretty awesome to see/feel these raw. these are gonna be real slim after a soak, but i think they'll be perfect after a week or so. gonna give them a second soak today and hopefully start wearing them tomorrow.

the pocket bags are soooo soft! really nice, but i'm definitely worried these will be the first thing to go.

I am very satisfied with the fit so far (one day). Didn't hem so they are very long and will double cuff for now. More pics in WAYJDT in a minute or two.

I think farhad might have just changed my hem plans. I was going to go with a real thin 1 inch cuff. But im really liking that bigger one even if its pre soak.

Number 24 just received. Size 36.....they are pretty big pre soak so a 40 degree wash will hopefully get all shrinking out of the way.

My bored teenagers came back for more fun and vandalism today. I had the police come to explain some things to them and observed the toughest looking one proceed to go into his house very quickly like a little bitch. They turned out to be like 13 or 14 and the police just told them to stay away from my neighbor's house from now on.
