Yes, I am! Hello. Sorry guys for being off topic. I'm posting here because I haven't even gotten a reply to my DM. I have been waiting for over a month now. Please return the jacket I sent you or give me the one you were supposed to trade.9 points

Ryusaka finds it a bit difficult to express himself well in English, so I would like to help him a bit here: The user futurecowboy2099 he is referring to made a jacket trade deal with him, but did not hold up his part of the deal. Also he has been scamming several people from the Techwearclothing Discord community, including myself. He operates under different user names including K.C., countercl0ckw1s3, Casey Smith, Casey Wilkinson. He hails from Dallas, Texas, (we got him to confirm this with an IP tracker), and since we have uncovered quite some information on him, he has deleted most of his accounts, including his LinkdIn. He has been in the community on reddit and Discord, and probably here too, since 2016, and has had friendly convos and also did some actual BST (I already bought from him once before) so that is how he won over people's trust and got them to pay him F&F, so we have no way of getting our money back. U could stitch over it with yellow thread for safety (use poly for durability). Usually the spot wears through on both stitch lines sooner or later... The orange thread is the first sewing line, over which the inseam is folded over, so basically it is double sewn. The yellow thread sews down the folded inseam so it stays flat and in the same position.2 points

Get any of the 3XXX denim, and you will not be disappointed! I looked on Franklin & Poe's site recently, but unfortunately, none of the cuts work for me anymore. I'd say that they really need to update their cuts if they wanted to become more relevant again. And by update, add an inch or two on the rises and thighs. Done. I'd say 1.5" of shrink in waist, 3" in length, and you'll get an 1" of stretch after wear. My SE05BSP (3XXX denim) after probably 3 years of wear.2 points

I've been quite actively buying, selling and trading in this "community" for 5 years now. I've trusted many people with F&F payments and trades. This is the first time I've been scammed. I choose to believe that it's the exception, not the rule. But yeah, if you want to be sure, be sure.1 point

Absolutely not. You pay your own return fees. "The customer is responsible for all expenses incurred through returning the goods, where the delivered item corresponds to the ordered item. Otherwise, return postage is free of charge. The refund is made within 30 days of receipt of the return."1 point

That's really interesting! Are images of jeans frequent in contemporary art? I don't think so, but I could be wrong.1 point

Here we are at 9 months, and finally in stock! New type 122 Pleat Back Jeans, based on 132s but with pleats into the waistband instead of a yoke, and no back pockets: I'll sort out some fit pics soon, but I've really been enjoying wearing them- I rarely use the back pockets of jeans which have them, and I've found the lack of yoke and pocket bulk to be really comfortable to wear.1 point

Again, you're making assumptions. You don't know how many they've made of each and you don't know what success looks like to them. And you definitely can't guarantee selling out a J1A in pink. Look, I'm not trying to argue with you for the sake of it, just saying that Acronym's about the long game. We were commenting about the same thing on here 10 years ago.1 point

You're thinking Acronym base their success on how quickly they sell out of a particular piece? That seems like an incredibly flawed assumption. I'm sure they're surprised/happy when that happens, but I'm also sure they're not taking that into account with their strategy either. You don't survive 20 years on word-of-mouth advertising by pinning your hopes to a small percentage of your catalog.1 point

It's been a while, but here are some findings on J86. The fabric is indeed a Gore-Tex, but from the Pyrad line. A bit water-resistant(ACR says it can withstand some rain), windproof, and yes, flame-resistant (A friend confirmed with E himself). Unfortunately, I still don't know what GTB stands for(we'll find out eventually). The silhouette is based on the Type II jacket, and the arms patterns come from Medieval European armor and pourpoint, especially the Grande Assiette (plate) pattern. The Grande Assiette comes with triangle patterns on the front and back. It is very clear on J86. On the back, ACRNM adds a line that goes all the way to the hem. Under the armpits, are extra triangle patterns, which is the modern take on extra room for movement. The patterns of the forearms are literally from gauntlets of armor. If you ever wonder why the chest pockets look like that, here's the answer. It's all about triangles. ACRNM even sacrificed the storage for this - they stitched the pocket entry to maintain the shape. The chest pocket cannot open fully. The most important thing I want to mention: the stitching on the front plate pattern is actually not continuous; the chest pocket breaks it (see above). No stitching underneath. Yet you may still see the pattern is complete because they manage to make the curve visually continuous. I can imagine how hard this is during production. Overall, J86 combines 3 different times in 3 dimensions: Now (fabric), 50s American workwear(silhouette), and Medieval(arm pattern). Triangle of Happiness PS. English is not my first language. I'm making a video for this but in Chinese. If you speak Chinese you might already watch my previous videos. If you don't, remember these are the most interesting parts so you won't miss a lot.1 point

there was a discussion abt that on the r/techwearclothing discord about it, consensus on it just being a custom modded judo belt, just some added velcro... easy enough to make.-1 points

I understand why its off putting, the concept of it just being expensive nike x acr, but i mean, this really isnt anything new is it? Seems odd to criticise them continuing their iterative design process just because their inspiration/cut is originally from a collab, not a contract. No one looks down upon the burton and j120 design cues. Call them kinda boring sure, they are, but it seems par for the course and to be expected. Not like its made of shitty materials, it will be a really high functioning piece in theory.-1 points

I’d definitely buy a pink j1a for bae instead of one of the flawed sacai pieces that were more “feminine”-2 points
