Greetings tech wear crew: WTS vintage threads 2012-14 P9S Black S $350 P9S Black S with TS but the label just says P9S $350 P9S Green [actual green, before RAF era] $300 P9S Khaki [actual khaki, before RAF era] $300 !!! all 4 of these pants have been *slightly* tapered to ~ 6.25" and I added ACR ribbon to allow ankle cinch if inclined !!! SP9 black S - these have been dyed as they were faded, came out great, tag and waistband are now dark $350 SP9 green S $300 Are you collecting vintage ACR and want the whole pile? Let's talk

It was a lost weekend in a hut in Hathersage, luckily not double pneumonia in a single room… A top escape for me and the lad in the Peak district Walking in the great outdoors, staring into meadows while drinking morning coffee, making friends with the sons of stags, listening to streams trickling, swimming in the local lido, sticking to a caveman diet of meat, fruit and veg and chilling away from it all Walked up Stanage Edge and Bamford Edge. At one point, I thought I heard a rumbling down below as if someone was in the drains and then a cool bike flashed past… we were deep in OO Soul country so who knows if it was him or not… Importantly there was denim on the trip… tatsunosuke military trousers and Freewheelers 1930s set-up

Some detail shots and a fit pic of the linen jeans. These things are so comfortable it almost feels wrong. Fabric has few, but significant neps. In general it’s a bit more irregular than the denim I’m used to wearing but nothing like those brands that make it a point. Looks like it was a bit tough to weave. Linen pocket bags are a nice touch. Worn about 4 days and like linen does the creases set quickly. Raised pocket seams are interesting. Happy with this pick up. Jacket pictures later, I don’t have it with me on this trip.

Bought my first and hopefully my last pair of white denim today. Don’t see too much of this color on the board here so it’ll be interesting how these will look on me. If they’re good, gonna dirty them up lol.

I like how these pants age. And in the heat, they are much more comfortable than jeans.

Back from a Portugal trip…

Only half of it was done in jeans and the rest was done in sweatpants or else, also not done today but moreso over the last 9 months. I finished a sweater over the weekend. Raglan top down construction, seamless and knit on the round, 100% wool, and a turtleneck-ish collar. Took inspiration from arans on the braids, but not as complex as your typical aran knit. Really proud since it's my first piece with braiding and any break from simple right or left right patterns. The pattern on the sleeves came natural as a help for sizing them down for the cuffs, same for the sides.

Some 16 month updates on my jeans. These are looking too faded so I will wear another pair.

I am always jealous of folks that can get 18 months and many washes without major repairs. By the time my jeans start getting toward that super soft, bright two year mark, they're so fragile that I can't wear them more than a few weeks without needing more repair. I love the look of all of these jeans, but I always prefer that bright, powder blue most.

Struggling to wear any denim in the summer but had a go whilst visiting Painshill Park. UES, MF, IH

Also not today but over the last week & weekend: Since the temperatures rose a bit in germany the citrus project on the balcony is growing along. Seen here are: 1 x trifoliate orange 1 x citrumelo (hybrid of trifoliate orange & grapefruit) lots of yuzus (the small ones are seed grown), the big one I got last winter at half its size right now 2 x volkamer lemons 1 ichang orange and maybe in the background a sanguinello blood orange Also visible an olive we got a few years ago bearing fruit nowadays The other pictures are from the weekend, foraging for berries and mushrooms in the black forest. Friends of ours moved there recently and we visited over the weekend. Since it's been crazy rainy and wet, but not really cold chanterelle mushrooms have been growing pretty early in the season. Usually they are ripe in august/september, rather than beginning of july.
