Leather patches on jeans

"The leather jeans patch was originally attached in order to polish the knife of working woodsman and trappers throughout the West. Today it is a denim marketing tool and branding instrument which is a long way from the origins proposed by Samurai Jeans."

I read that before. Does that sound like it'd be kinda a tall tale, though. Couldn't they have used their belts to polish it? Of course, they might've had buckle-backs back then, but still... Wouldn't it have been better to place it somewhere they had easier view if that were the case?

I've soaked my jeans hot many times, and put one pair in the dryer, without having the patches shrink or really change much at all. It's because the patches didn't take up much water as I treated them with beeswax before. Try something similar.

david: jag gissar på att han med fap fap menar "självtillfredställelse", han gillar verkligen jeans! :)
